I admire anyone who has a spontaneous attitude to fashion but we used to pick up fashion tips at Blackpool or Brighton conferences, both TUC and Labour, decorating and furniture tips from Readers Wives, y'know that sort of thing. Wicker baskets and bathroom chairs.

Case in point - Findus macaroni cheese

Used to be chewy and goey and delish

BUT - they changed it ... to low salt/low fat ... WHY???

 

I messaged them saying the new stuff was horrible

They replied it was in line with their health policy

I replied, "Who chooses Macaroni cheese as a healthy option?"

I won't be buying again

Meaningless management speak especially in the NHS.

 

I read a report by hospital inspectors, which stressed the need to "harness a commitment" from consultants to improve things. Think it means they need a kick up the @rse.

 

Also words like suboptimal - in other words dire.

 

It was used in connection with youths who have turned away from street violence to working out in a boxing gym.

 

I suspect it means they transcend a potential life of violence and/or criminality and do something worthwhile with their lives.
