Have you ever written a post and decided to alter it before submitting it because you know the moderators won't take kindly to it? Do you ever think twice about replying to posters who wind you up knowing the ban stick is hovering? Or are you just a super nice angelic type who types freely without any fear of upsetting anyone?

I have occasionally had second thoughts before submitting one of my more er, 'colourful' replies. Is it just me who does this?

Well - I never write anything the moderators won't like, just coz I'm not that sort of person

I never respond to the sort of posters who wind people up coz I will just be fueling the fire - no point in that at all. I did learn a real lesson on C4 about trying to stand my corner against a renowned WUM - months later someone bumped the thread and quoted me well out of context. I leaned that day never to bite

So yes Prom, I am super angelic

Can I post an angel then?

Thank you

There are ways of expressing strongly held views without becoming personally offensive.
Sometimes it may be tempting to post in response to a provocative or confrontational bait.
But it's often best (though not always easy) to ignore, and let it fade away.

I think the moderation here is extremely good.
It's one of the reasons I like this place.

Yes, I know all about how insane the C4 ban stick was . The difference on here is you can slag off pretty much anyone you like and get away with it as long as it's not another forum member. I feel you suffered a grave injustice as Charlie was (and still is) a skanky old cow.
