What beautiful flowers too
Beautiful Tributequote:Originally posted by The Devil In Diamante:
Michael Jackson has been with me since I was a child, the soundtrack to my life...I was the girl who waited outside HMV to put my name to the life-size cardboard cut-outs when the displays got taken down...
....I had a little black pullover with white satin capped sleeves and a big sparkly MJ glove on the front with Thriller written across, my Mum had to bath me in it to get it clean!
I adore him and always will, he broke boundariess in Music & Dance....he was the greatest!
Just like Peter Pan, he will never grow old, I hope he finds his Neverland in the Sky, and finds the peace he has always looked for!

I love this song.
Her mother, brother and nephew were murdered last year
Yes the one at the end is him....quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:
Which one's Jermaine? The two brothers on the end look identical! My daughter thinks its the one on the very end.

My 16 year old is crying now; hearing his voice speaking in that song. Shes so upset.
Set me off too...such a shame that the younger generation never saw him in his hay day and understand how big he was!

Is his father there?
I don;t think there will ever be anyone like this again. MJ is one of the last of a dying breed. The charts and the stars of the charts just ain't the same these daysquote:Originally posted by The Devil In Diamante:quote:Originally posted by pretty~cocoa~eyes:Awwwh give her a hug for mequote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:

Thanks I still have the cut-outs in the attic along with umpteen scrap books full of him!
On a brighter note, I'm glad that when he went, he had 50 sold out concerts at the O2, and he went with the knowledge that he was still adored by millions....sadly, i had tickets for a Concert that was never meant to be!
And who gave you the right to scare my family?
And who gave you the right to scare my baby, she needs me
And who gave you the right to shake my family tree?
And who gave you the right to take intrusion, to see me?
You put a knife in my back,
Shot an arrow in me!
Tell me are you the ghost of jealousy
A suckin' ghost of jealousy
Michael's take on the media. It is relevant today.

I agree with you.. Artists today are mere imitators not innovators.... Maybe one will come in our old age or when we all have passed....quote:Originally posted by storm:I don;t think there will ever be anyone like this again. MJ is one of the last of a dying breed. Is it John Meyer ...? (Jennifer Aniston's on/off love interest ...) ... Not sure ....
His Music is also sampled on so many songs by so many Artists....proving that he was way out in front!

me tooquote:Originally posted by The Devil In Diamante:

His music was ahead of his time and still relevant today... Artists still recycle his dance moves and swagger....quote:Originally posted by The Devil In Diamante:

Just watching the memorial service since around 7.00 when I got in from work ... It's very impressive and moving ... Thought Jennifer Hudson's performance was beautiful ... and Rev Al Sharpton's speech was very powerful ...
