Men can go bald before 50 but I would have thought if he was bald there would have been someone who knew that and would sell the story.

Why would someone sell the story that he was bald???

Because he's famous around the world and some newspapers would pay money for that story?

Hang on... you really think that thick black mop of hair was his? Big Grin

I've absolutely no idea Confused Have just remembered it's been mentioned he had the disease Lupus as well as Vitiligo. I've a very dear online friend in the US and she has Lupus and one of the symptoms is loss of some hair and she uses wigs.

But you said, if he was bald, someone would've sold the story Confused

I used the word "if" because I don't know whether he was or not Disappointed

Crazy

Crazy same here, hard to keep up with it all lol

Just a few points.

Firstly, I NEVER believe anything reported in that god-awful paper!

Secondly, all we can do is speculate until the truth comes out. People seem to enjoy indulging themselves in conspiracy theories, and whilst generally I fall into this category of people, I don't believe that anything particularly untoward has happened here. He was never going to be able to perform anywhere near all of those dates so it stands to reason that the pressure that he put himself under was going to be the undoing of him. I suspect, however, that he was probably a difficult man to challenge so if someone did have the guts to say 'no' to whatever inappropriate requests were made, it wouldn't be difficult to find people who would bow to his requests if the price was right.

Regarding the kids, I can't even believe that people are entertaining the idea that he was their biological father. Regardless of his skin condition - biologically he is a Black man. If a Black man has kids with a Caucasian woman, these kids will NOT be Caucasian, they would be mixed-race genetically and in appearance. It's possible that there may have been rare cases over the years, however, it's very convenient that this has happened in this case.

Also, I find it truly bizarre that the family attended the BET awards a FEW DAYS after the passing of their much loved family member. Eeker I know people grieve in different ways etc, but I can't imagine that they had fully thought through how this would look. Surely you would be so overcome with grief that the idea of going to an awards ceremony would be the last thing you would want to do, even if they were going to paying homage to their brother/son. There are many more awards ceremonies to come, why was it imperative that they attended this one? I think this demonstrates just how odd the family is.

No judgement in the last point, I just find it bizarre Confused

Also, whilst I am truly shocked and saddened by his death, (he was a legend in my view) I'm not entirely surprised. We were never going to see him grow old, his life has been just too tragic, which would invariably result in a tragic and untimely death. This is just the final chapter in the life of Michael Jackson - in my opinion, it was always going to end this way.

here is an intresting item i found...

quote:
Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe has lashed out over a "completely fabricated" interview with a British newspaper alleging the pop star was not the father of his two eldest children.

Rowe, the mother of 'Prince' Michael Jr, 12, and 11-year-old Paris, has yet to answer questions about whether she will fight for custodial rights following Jackson's sudden death on Thursday.

She attempted to surrender her parentage of the kids in 2005, though a judge later overturned his ruling and indicated she would take custody following her ex's death.

aparently as part of some unspecified settlement she had to give up her parental rights but after a judge found out she had been paid to give them up he overturned the judgement meaning that she should now take over the role of parent, however we all know the jacksons love of litigation so if she does try to assert he rights its likely the family could keep her locked in court till shes bankrupt or the kids are over 21.

Will you please stop being so reasonable...some of us are grieving in here. The man never lied about nothing. His father is goodness personified and his kids are definitely his. I love him, so I know. Their mother on the other hand is a cash grabbing old cow, as is the boys family he paid ÂĢ20 million to so as not to be found guilty of something he was innocent of. Got it??? I feel very sorry for poor Mike. He was bald probably coz of his extreme dieting and the immense amount of pills he had. And also, he had numerous scars over his body and face from the extreme amount of plastic surgery he had. I think the person who continually did all this surgery needs to be struck off. Michael barely had any nose left. Frowner

i believe in that case you'll find out the boy in question did, once he'd grown up, admit that his father put him up to it.
Yep the news has been circulating different blogs, I hope one of the news channels picks it up.. Thumbs Up

Radio2 news had some legal bloke on explaining his estate. Debts of $300-400M to creditors, $1B of assets in trust. The trust will probably be protected from the creditors and will got to the kids. There's future royalties to consider too.

Given all that, why on earth didn't MJ sell his assets, pay off his liabilities, and live on the $700M minus tax rather comfortably in peace and stuff the shows?

Well that doesnt really put MJ in a good light... what other revelations that the boy could reveal in court were worth ÂĢ20 million to be hidden then?

No one will ever know... He had bad advisors around him... I think MJ was out of it in the later years and just let people handle his business...

But shirley! If that was the case then don't the Jackson family (sic) require a large refund?

He lived his entire life in the spotlight up until some years ago. I imagine he wanted to show people that he still had 'it'.

You know Fz sometimes, it just so much more easier to pay and rid off the hassle, guilty or not, surely you would concur with that?
