I agree Yogi, there's no way he could have left that building on his own.

As much as I agree, I get the feeling of 'Shannon', I will disagree about him leaving the building on his own. They can do it.

Kirkcaldy? Have to hand it to the police, they've done well to find him, but I guess the whole family would have been under investigation.

I know Kaffy. There must be underlying things about this that we're not aware of yet that have led the police to be searching that far afield so soon after he was reported missing.

They lived there till about a year ago and still visited it seemed.   They've also said forensics have found nothing at all at the flat in Edinburgh, so maybe whatever happened, happened in Kirkcaldy?  It's just so sad.

The house in Kirkcaldy belongs to his aunt. His body appears to have been found in land adjoining the back of the aunt's house.

Don't you think it's strange they're making a point of saying the aunt isn't there and they don't want to speak to her?    Surely they'd want to speak to her as a witness, even if it was a stranger that had been been found there?

Have they said where the aunt is? It might explain why they don't want to talk to her in connection.

Poor little mite. We all know kids can drive you to the brink, but that's where it stops.

They just said she's 'not present'  I don't care where she is... even if she's not in the country, you'd think they'd want to question her about who had access to the house surely?

Unless they have been able to rule her out, for example, if she has been abroad during the relevant time frame.

I did think about that, yogi, but thought they might still want to ask her questions about who could get in to the house   Unless they think they know enough already, of course.    His mum hadn't been arrested last I heard though  - just 'detained' and 'helping with enquiries'

She can be detained for up to 24 hours, without being arrested or charged.

After that, they can either release, arrest or charge her, depending on the evidence etc.
