, very tasty indeed, only 2 and a half minutes in the microwave. I had a Chicken Tikka Masala one the other day with Pilau Rice from Asda too pmsl but Tesco probably does them also.

Any time i make microwave meals (apart from micro chips) they just explode. I follow the instructions but me and microwaves just don't see eye to eye.
Micro Pizzas are easy to do .

Do you pierce the wrapping before you try to cook it?
microwave food is just wrong
I buy a couple of them if I am shopping in M&S they are lovely and I buy Pilau rice
Microwave curries combine two of my most hated types of food
Some of them are really cack, but the nice ones are a welcome sight when I come home knackered!

Are they not soggy though Darlo.
Never had microwave pizza but would imagine they are soggy. I like crispy pizzas.

But so ewwwww! Microwave Pizzas are just wrong.
I use my microwave to heat milk for cocoa but my DH does use a little more than me to reheat home made curries or chillies that I've put in the freezer for him if I'm going out.
remember them vesta currys?

my mom used to go cranky if i ate one

My mother used to buy them - I think they still make them! You used to be 'posh' if you had a ready meal in those days, now it's the opposite!
I love my combination microwave but I do love Patak's 'karai' (sp?) curry sauce, stunning - I use it with quorn for my veggie curry!

I've never really been that impressed with store bought curries, microwave or otherwise. That said, when you're the only one in the household that likes curry, they're certainly welcome when a trip to an Indian restaurant is out of the question!
I broke my microwave i was cleaning it and sprayed bleach into a vent type thing and it started going nuts beeping none stop.

You're right, they are top shelf material! I haven't seen or heard of 'Mr Dave's' tbh - I'll look out as I keep a few ready meals in the freezer in case I'm out all day and hubby will faint if he has to wait until I get home for a meal. (He can cook but ransacks the kitchen! It's cleaner if I do it ahead!). So, I do try to be organised like today for instance, I'll make at least two batches each of meat and quorn bolognese and freeze a few portions of each.

The were vile tbh, but I think half was reformed meat and some early attempts at soya mix in?
Don't really like microwave meals they always seem a bit plasticy for my liking, however the odd time I do have one when I can't be mythered cooking but majority of the time I like fresh products.
I use my microwave for heating food up, like soup etc.

I'm happier with the thought that it was soya, not stringy bits of an animal they cant use elsewhere all stuck together with hoof glue.

Oh God, no wonder I turned veggie nearly 40 years ago! Oh should that say 'Thank God' I did. Veterinary stamps on corned beef tins alarmed me too!

It was a really nice veggie place a good few years back,in Mumbles, used to love it.

Oh I know! Don't think I went there tho' as I'm tight when it comes to eating out! I had a feeling you were from my neck of the woods and were talking locally. (I forget things these days such as a/s/l of Fms!). It's not fun being 51 and female! I still think restaurants could do more for us veggies these days - I mean I don't eat 'goat's cheese' etc and that seems to be the in thing.
The Turkish restaurant on the front used to be lovely but they've gone sooo expensive I don't go there any more - plus as in Turkey you have to be careful as their version of 'no meat, ie vegetarian' usually translates as 'we've taken the meat out, so we've only used the meat stock!'.

Ohhh I absolutely LOVE them. We really rarely have them but I love it when we do.

I wondered about that place, the smell is gorgeous when your in that Street! When I'm flush I'll give it a go - I'm rarely up that way, well there's not much left to go into town for tbh is there?
