 Good for you Dame.

I am a bit worried it will be close... you never know

Me too Rosie, I've never really bothered about US elections until the last two, but this one is scary

I've been fraying my nerves since Reagan got in and Thatcher in the same year. The combination from hell and I was just about to up sticks and leave Germany for the shores of Scotland.

Is it because major issues so perturbing to some Republicans like "socialised healthcare" are just second nature to us in Europe.

Strangely, some leaders are more popular outside their country than in their own eg Clinton, Gorbachev even Blair.

Good point Rosie. Compared the system in the US Brits don't realise how lucky they are to have a National Health system which is free. People in the US are very envious, especially those who cannot afford to pay for healthcare.

Maybe it's because of the hype Romney's been spilling about the economy and they think Romney can change their circumstances. He seems to have based his platform that because he's run company's he can run a country, some sadly will believe the two are the same, that's very naieve.

I agree with you but they are historically pro republican, I wondered if it was something to do with religious trends?
