Well won't be long before the conspiracy theorists will be out in force. Rumours are already flying that faced with crippling debts and unable to tackle his proposed tour (I reckon 5 shows would have been too much let alone 50) his "death" will lead to massive increased sales of his albums and that he can retire to lead the solitary life he has craved for. Not my theory but this will be one among many.

Morning LL, my favourite so far was that Elvis is living in a 7 storey bunker he built under Gracelands and that MJ is now living there with him and several other supposedly dead celebs. Oh and also that MJ was seen leaving the back of the hospital dressed as a nun and also flying off (another theory) with a jetpack heading for LA airport Crazy Laugh

I don't believe I am showing lack of respect Temps. I have a great deal of respect for the Jackson family. I think they are great people. I am merely pointing out that the conspiracy theorists will have a field day with this. Any lack of respect was surely shown yesterday with a thread of jokes about Michael Jackson.

tongue in cheek jokes aren't on a par with something as distasteful as this thread and if anyone else had posted something like this Squiggle you would be on your pc bandwagon in no time...but as long as it's you typing it ey?

Well you consider it distasteful Temps and that is your opinion but many don't and as you seem to have a personal problem with me I think I will leave it there.

There's always been conspiracy theories and controversy surrounding and dogging MJ all his life, from his nice daddy and how he treated them right up to the child abuse thing(alledgedly) personally, I don't give a toss he's dead, however I do ackowledge that he had a great talent and I did like him when he was younger and black! I think Uri Gellar was probably spot on when he said the stress of the tour killed him .... Imo, that & the painkillers he was apparently addicted to, more than likely, finished him off.

I think you're probably right. I hate these doctors who attach themselves to vulnerable stars and pump them full of drugs, at great cost, to line their own pockets. They bring shame to the medical profession.

Apparently though MJ insisted on the doctor beng signed up to be his doctor for all of the London gigs...why would a bloke with no health problems need his own cardiologist on call??

I don't have any inside knowledge but going on what happened to Elvis Presley, and it seems to be similar for Michael Jackson, the doctor dishes out the drugs, the patient can't manage without them in the end and therefore relies on the doctor being there on call all the time.

Well at first I thought his doctor might of overdosed him but since the coroner has said there was no foul play I think Michael might have just overdosed himself as he had injuries and was in pain. Plus all that debt he was in could of put alot of stress on him. I am so sad hes gone Frowner. Rest in peace Michael Jackson

EMMMMMMM why as he in debt again????
I am not so shocked at his death to be honest, i said two years ago to my oh that i'd be surprised if he lived til he was 50.... he made it. Now i feel sorry for 'the' kids, i'm not convinced they are his. I feel sorry like i would if the guy who sells the newspapers in the middle of the road died and left a family. MJ, if the theories are correct, may have contributed to his own death by being addicted to pain killers. Respect that and lets get back to BB Wink

I read that he could have debts of upto half a BILLION dollars although I suppose that could be just loans against some of his other assets.

For all his musical oeuvre, the bloke squandered hundred and hundreds of millions on a lavish lifestyle, including toys and antiques. It's obscene, really.

Michael Jackson led a lavish lifestyle but really you cant blame him as if you were in his shoes wouldnt you spend your money how you wanted from all the millions you had from a successul music career I know I would. You only live once and Michael certainly lived his life how he wanted and enjoyed it. His 3 children are his kids theres no doubt about it they have his features so theres the proof. Michael may of had problems in his life but dont we all we arent all perfect. Michael may of been addicted to pain medication but that was cos he was in bad shape from injuries he suffered from his early career, and also it was said he had skin cancer, and all the surgeries he had done on his face. I think if I had all that I would probably be on pain medication. Michael wasent a bad person he was a good person and he was a legend and was so talented. Its so sad hes dead he died to early and still had alot to give. I hope hes in peace now in heaven. I hope his family will cope and try get on with life
