Dave has continued to worry about the video message from his family.

Last night, as part of their reward for this week's 'Ignore the Obvious' task, housemates were treated to video messages from their loved ones. However, since seeing the video of his wife, Dave has been concerned that she seemed “flat”.

This evening, the 39-year-old minister went to the Diary Room to ask Big Brother to pass on a message to her from him.

“I just wanted to ask a question and say: Do you need me home? Do I need to be there? Or shall I stay here a little bit longer?” he told the housemates.

“They basically said they weren’t willing to do that, but they did say we can tell you that every person that’s left the Big Brother house has majorly regretted it.”

He went on to explain that being on camera and going on shows like Big Brother’s Little Brother wouldn’t have been easy for his family.

Steve also seemed to have last night's events on his mind, saying: “In my message, there wasn’t anything to say that the people local to me were going, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, go on Steve, you’re doing alright’. It was just me kids going, 'You're alright, Dad, you’re doing well'.

“I think Rach got a really good upbeat message. All her family were involved in it, weren’t they, and I think that was a good message.

“And Josie’s as well, yours was a really good message. And was it your aunt or your mum that said ‘Bristol’s going for you, girl?’ And that’s an amazing feeling.”

Oh! So they have message envy now? They comparing what their message lacked that others got? And Steve was sad that they hadn't put out the bunting for him in his home town!!! Jeeez these people are all me, me, me!
