oh god.... its horrible from a mum's perspective... losing them at 16.... and this year has been tough! BUT... she seems more settled... more back to her old self now. And I am glad she's boarding, cos its like a halfway house for when she goes to uni, and will not have any adult looking out for her. Its harder on us than them I think Menty
You'll still cry

My mother used to text me every time I went back to uni with a sad face and then write "I'll stop crying soon and phone you"...yeah cheers mum if I didn't feel bad about leaving before I sure do now!

This year however she cried because I came home . And she got close to tears when my big brother told her he might be moving out (he's 24 its time), he later asked me about it "She let you move out at 18! Why do I get guilt-tripped?" I told him it's because he stayed so long she thinks he'll be there when hes married. Mind you the way he is behaving this week she'll be throwing him out if he's not careful.
