I only really realised it this morning when we were telling some men about it all and they were like "this sounds totally not real by the way".
well for future reference...  as long as you remain polite, you are within your rights to ask to see their ID...   don't be fobbed off with them flashing something in front of your face & and whisking it away again.

If you are still not convinced, explain this to them (politely)... explain that you would be happy to comply with their requests when you are happy they are who they say they are.

If they have any problem with any of this.. tell em to do one or you will call the police!

It's really annoying, because we just didn't think about it at the time and were all really hungover and wanting them to leave, but I guess it's kind of a lesson learned really, to pay more attention and actually ask about things though.

That was the only bad thing though, apart from the heat!!

Totally OT (though that shouldn't matter in here ), I'm mightily miffed.  My son has taken some of his GCSEs early and the results should be out in August, HOWEVER, because he is in year 9 he won't be able to get his results until September because they aren't set up to give result to people not in year 11!!! How can they not be set up, they have a candidate number etc they should get their results the same time as everyone else. Bliddy red tape! 'and breathe'

Possibly Ditty but it annoys me, doesn't help that other boy took them at the same time and he will get his plus from an autistic point of view he just cannot grasp the fact that he won't get his and he will stressing about this all summer! Oh well not a lot I can do about it.

By the time my boy grows up I'm either going to be a nervous wreck or in line for a sainthood
