Well I imagine him in an old junk shop full of defunct electrical items rummaging about and fixing and mending. But then again - I'm not into Sci Fi.

Gawd! You know Duds got a D in his science and we were really shocked because he got an E in the exam part of it?  (a B and D in the coursework elements)

He's just been looking at his results again...... he got the modules mixed up.  The B was the exam part.

So, it means he wasn't going crazy, he was right to feel confident coming out of the exam, and he won't need to resit that part.

I've told him to check with his teacher when he goes back to college about the coursework part, because it means he got E for his coursework now, and he was told it was B when it was marked. So either he was told wrong or it's been recorded wrong. What a palaver!

Fingers crossed it was a 'clerical error' then Ducky

I liked Science at school, apart from Physics.



We'll all be hiding out in here after once John gets the boot.

I hope so Zaph. He's not a natural at coursework though...... he performs much better in formal exams. So it's going to be gutting if it isn't a mistake, because the coursework makes up two thirds of the total marks.   It's going to make it very difficult for him to improve on a D next year.
