Bloody hell Ducky NO! He was out of order BUT boy was he stitched up and I really should be asleep, but I can't stop watching! I'd also really like to know exactly what Corin told him as I didn't see that bit
Aww I was only kidding
I know you don't have to pity us to say hello
Afternoon all
Just got back from the results run.....
It's a mixed bag for Duds (but still amazingly exciting
).
He got his A in Economics (expected...... but he panicked in the exam because of the pressure bless him, so a HUGE relief that he made it!).
He got a B in his Statistics.
Some of you may know how much stress there has been in this house over this subject!!!!
He has been saying it's too hard and he doesn't understand it ALL year. I'd tried and failed to help him (teaching your own kids is NOT easy
) In his January module he got a D....and he was told by his teacher he had to get a D over all to carry it on next year. He only went and got TWO BLOODY A's in the recent modules!
The bad news is he got a D in his Science over all......it's ok, but he was expecting higher. He got a B and a D in his coursework elements .... but he usually does much better in formal science exams......but he got an E.
He seemed very confident after the exam at the time, and had been getting A's and B's in mock papers, so gawd knows what happened there?
He's a bit gutted about his science, but he's so excited about the Stats and Economics that it hasn't put a downer on the day.
And he can't wait to see his Stats teacher in September.
