Has this turned into a dog shack then?  Mind you, there could be an argument it always has been

Helloooooo to all  just finished work,  don't usually on a sunday but as it was the 1st of the month I had to

anyhow might just go have a rummage for a doggy pic or two, just cos I can

Strangely enough we were trying to work out earlier how long we've had the one we didn't want, Basil that is, do you know he has now been with us for 10 months!

And Basil discovered he could swim earlier this year in March

He's on the right charging into the water all excited

Amber at the back, looks like she's charging, but Amber NEVER charges anywhere and she doesn't swim either, she only plods in the shallows, she only plods anywhere

An Belle in the front left, she adores water and swimming

And I think that'll do for now, seeing as gaga has a distinct lack of hamsters atm

That first picture of Basil looks like he is sitting proudly by his first 'kill'
not quite his first kill!  the dunes were full of mixy'd rabbits, so he'd definitely had his fill  Luckily we took the lappy with us, and I did a bit of research on the web about it, because we were horrified when all of them kept coming across bundles of fur and crunching them to their hearts content.

Apparently humans can eat mixy rabbits too, not that I would want to

It still makes me laugh now, but hubby made a comment at the time though about the dogs being on 'an ALL inclusive holiday'    now I don't know if it was the wine we took to the beach that made me giggle uncontrollably the way I did over that comment, and still do, or whether it was actually quite funny
I suppose a bit of both ....

I had a choc lab for 14 years, we had to get him put to sleep last year, there isnt a day goes by I dont think about him he was adorable, but also a big dufus
oh gawd Lockes...   thats my weak spot..  losing our dogs..   I used to think about my childhood dog nearly everyday too, we lost him when he was 16...  and I never forgot him, still haven't.

We've lost another since then... but I have to make myself not think about him cos it hurts too much.

To end on an up note..    we have the hairy baby (currently out in the garden barking & terrorising a neighbour who has had the audacity to be up a ladder cleaning their windows... my dog hates ladders )

We know a couple of choc labs... they are all mental big soft lumps!     AJ (my dog) likes golden & choc labs... but he has issues with black dogs.  Tis embarrassing!

This Shack is a poor excuse for a hovel that I have ever seen! It is draughty, the door doesn't work (unless you are trying to leave) and the shared matress is disgusting!! The fact that it has my name on it connected to JJ is an insult of the highest order, I will never darken it's doorstep again!!!
