John James so needs to win this task, although he's thinking of throwing it again.

At the risk of sounding like a John James hater, I really do believe that they all say this to cover the arses if they lose.  It sounds a lot better to say I woudn't want to put someone up in my place then to say 'I'm going to do my best coz I'd rather any of you go then me' To be fair he is not the only one guilty of this.

Menty...  I object to any of this bollox..    to them saying they won't nominate, throwing the SAR, even putting someone up as a result of winning the SAR that they think is popular and will be safe.

All of that kind of stuff is not in OUR interests.
