I try to apply a mask once a week if I can. My skin is naturally nice, but I really like the tighening sensation. If I'm honest, the sensation is the only reason I do it.

my OH has tried them and likes them, he never buys them himself he usually nicks mine, he particularly likes the ones that warm up

Is this your own recipe, Sarum? Eeker

No...believe it or not, it was given to me by a professional make-up artist. She said it was just as good, if not better, than any of the expensive brand-name masques...and so far, I have to agree with her Smiler

You take about a tablespoonful of cat litter - the cheaper the better, without deodorants, 'clumping agents', or whatever - and grind it to a fine powder (I use a mortar and pestle, but I'm told that an old coffee grinder or peppermill works too).
Then you mix it with just enough warm water to make a smooth paste.
Then you spread it on your face, wait for it to dry, and wash it off.

Dead cheap, dead simple...dead good Thumbs Up

Ha... my hubby used to snigger and laugh at men that used face cream.... gayness in a jar he used to call it.

But I have recently found an ever growing range of man grooming products in the bathroom.. including eye wrinkle gel!

He hasn't done the mud mask yet.... I may have to leave my pot of bodyshop bluecorn mask out and see if he's tempted!
