The "Call you in 10" thread also deserves a place in forum history

I shall  have a think, I am sure there are LOADS more!!

'I cancelled a night out for this' was one of the best  threads ever!

She made me roar laughing as only she could.

But the very best thread ever, has to be. ' at least you didnt get booed on the way in'... no idea who started it, but they deserve recognition, the  hilarity and  and the industrious minds of those involed was majestic.

I once started  athread  entitled  '' no rabid fans please''  in defence of Aisleyne,  and i  do feel the term ' the rabids'  theron after became  common place.

Oh, dear.

See, I remember that very painfully, Cinds.

In all fairness Lori. I don't think it was the fact that he'd departed   It was the plethora of threads.

It was a bloody meltdown!

Hmmm,

I was actually one of those ones who got very defensive about what people were saying.  I'm a big fan of his, musically, so to me it was a shock and a blow.

I did lose my rag on here, had a right go at someone, not sure who they were....but then Bea entered the Big Brother house and all was well

'at least you didnt get booed on the way in' was homage to that elderly blonde woman in  BB7  who 'fell' for the  winner  bloke, whose name escapes me. however   on her way in up  the  glittery highway  of  ch4, she saw booed unmercifully, and she never really got over it and  said to everyone over the ensuing months whenver they complained about anything'' well at least  you didnt get booed on the way in'

the  wit  displayed in the  thread had  jesus  being crucified and complaining  to the  the bloke being crucified on the   cross next to him and the  bloke sayin to him.

.'' you think   this is a shit way to spend easter but at least... you didnt get booed on the way in''

Wish it had been that easy for the rest of you.

Still water under the bridge.

Did you ever see the Michael Jackson fan site that was set up to remember him? There was one bloke on there who posted this:

There is a window...

It is open....

I might jump...

I am moonwalking towards the window...

And he was serious

(Although he didn't jump cos he posted again the next day).

Another girl swears blind Michael came to visit her cos she found him in the cupboard.

Then people were claiming to have his nose.

I've never understood the complete outpourings of grief of somebody you don't know personally (Diana... MJ...Hitler - actually, scrap Hitler).MJ was influential, no doubt about it, and was an amazing artist, but claiming to find his spirit rummaging through your smalls and all that was a bit odd.

Karma_

I used to LOVE the channel 4 forum ..... I spent hours and hours on that forum ..... I wouldn't have the time nowadays as I only worked part time back then ..... but I could often sit from morning until tea time when the family came in for tea ... then I had to look busy like I'd been doing housework all day

Who do I remember ??? ..... Let me think ?

SWW (shell will win )

Worpler

Daisy Bee

Babooshka

Dermots Husband

Smiler Wilson

VaVaVoom

Angel Of The North

Mrs BBV

Skive

I'm sure there are many more if I really wracked my brain.

and there was a lady who was psychic ... her birthday was 21st Nov ... & she used to come on and tell you something about yourself just from your username ... can't remember her name though

^^^^ That thread had me crying with laughter, it was so funny.

Yogi19

I loved the thread on the C4 forum, where people formed elaborate pictures with bits of text.

Angry of Mayfair/Park Lane always made me laugh with their mini essays in support of Luke and Bex

I loved being a FAKER during the Ash/Nikki wars, particularly in the week when they were all up for eviction and Ash survived!

I enjoyed Dance Settee and Hoochie's great graphics last year!

I had friends on Facebook who were threating to 'defriend' anyone who posted anything negative about the sainted Michael!
