That clip felt almost dismissive of his situation, arrogant tw*t.

Im so happy and overjoyed that he's been found guilty, I never liked the guy, he protected all the horrid people in society, the kiss and tell brigade, and the unpleasant celebrities, he always openly admitted that he spread lies in the press for his own ends...a totally nasty and crude little man.

I'm thrilled to bits that he has been found guilty, sleazy piece of crap.

I said to Mr C when he was originally arrested, there will be many celebs stars twitching. It wouldn't surprise me if he sings like a canary now to get a lighter sentence.

If there are celebrity wrongdoers out there, then I would hope he does expose them.

wonder if they'd have got him to sign confidentiality clauses?  Just a thought and probably not but if they didn't then they're as foolish as he was greedy and creepy.

Personally I think he should have got longer but 8 years is worth it to have that barsteward taken down

You make an artform of appearing dense, Renton. She loves him, he's the closest person in her life, she's unwell and he's in prison (rightly so).

You mentioned her disability and who would look out for her - not her being upset about her Dad.

I won't miss a heart beat about the care provision for a millionaire's daughter who at 40 will have her package well and truly sewn up.

As for him going to jail - do you think he has anything to do with her care on a daily basis - i think not.

I'm sure she is upset about her Dad - that is her raw deal out of this

But for the last sentence, I would have taking out 'appearing' from my previous post.

LOL Cologne - you are funny

Of course she's upset - its her Dad after all.

But i really do doubt if he has had much to do with her care as she's grown older. Far too busy being a celeb i bet.

But i'm happy to be corrected

We were astounded at eight years but absolutely astounded when we found out what he had done. The court case passed us by. It seems like that Boer bloke's court case had taken all the publicity. Meanwhile when we want to find out what is happening in The Trial of the Century, it seems that only Private Eye are giving out the full story.

Personally, I can see no difference between Clifford and Roach - apart from the fact that one pissed off government ministers and the other didn't

As I understand it, Clifford's daughter has suffered with arthritis since her teenage years, poor girl.

Max Clifford's career began with lies all those years ago and ended with more lies in the dock at Southwark Crown Court.

One of the few times, he did tell the truth was when George Bayer, asked him how he felt about 'screwing people's lives'. 'That's my job,' Clifford replied, nonchalantly.

I was shocked when I heard he had been arrested ,he certainly fooled me. Roache on the other hand I thought was guilty and it turned out he was innocent
