Alison Saunders, Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS London, said: “We have carefully considered the evidence gathered as part of Operation Yewtree in relation to Max Clifford, who was initially arrested on 6 December 2012 over allegations of sexual offences."

That is the long and the short of it erin.  I've met the bloke and he seemed polite and self-effacing.

Very.

Max Clifford has made a career of telling porkies to the press about his clients down the years to protect them and make them seem like the victim or an innocent, so his job, even his life, is about hiding the truth from the rest of us, telling the public what he wants them to hear.

So forgive me if I dont believe his "im totally innocent of all charges" speech today, im not buying it...and for those of you who really believe that this in some way is an evil Tory stitch up job on him...even in the unlikely event of that being true I say...GOOD, he of all people deserves what he gets.

 I agree Video.....

Baz

I have no sympathy for him - remember his behaviour against Tory MP Hamilton and his wife?

"In one of a number of newspaper interviews in the days following their arrest, Mr Clifford told the Independent on Sunday: "The fact that after three months investigation they decided to bring the Hamiltons in, you make your own conclusions."

Then, in a GMTV interview he said: "All I would say is when it comes to judging who's telling the truth I totally believe what that young lady told me.

"The police obviously believe there is something in it or they wouldn't have spent all this time investigating."

In fact, the Hamiltons had a cast iron alibi.

So, it's no longer a 'witch hunt' then, because you don't happen to like him?

Or, you don't care if it is a witch hunt, in this case, as long as it's a Tory witch hunt?

It may still be a witch hunt, im just saying that the guy has a history of lying to the press and the public (and he's even admitted to that in the past) and he's a nasty man, so im saying I dont trust him when he says he's innocent.

BTW, could the Tory party get 11 women to accuse him of these crimes...really?

Surely you dont believe that this is some bizarre Tory plot to take him down.?

I dont remember you defending Jim Davidson when he was arrested.

Blizz just did, and you on here have suggested that Clifford being in trouble might be some kind of victory to those who would like to see the back of him.

Still counts.

And listen to how he mentions that, as if because it happened so long ago it's in some way crazy that he should be brought up on charges now.
