First episode of this week's semi-finals. Ten chefs through to this stage. The first challenge for them is to produce a dish based on their favourite food moment. I think that there will be two groups of five, one group cooking first followed by the second group. Affter both groups have cooked, the five strongest chefs go through. The other five have to cook again in an invention test to create a dish that you could order from a fine dining food delivery experience so need to take into account the presentation in takeaway boxes. Three of those five go through, the other two leave.

I think that Wednesday's and Thursday's episodes are filmed in the Masterchef kitchens with two British chefs invited there rather than the contestants going to those chefs restaurants. That could be confirmed in the trailer at the end of tonight's episode.
