Hi,while waiting for MC thought I'd tell you about my day. I'm cooking for a private supper club tomorrow at mine which is a lot...20 dishes at least, think Ive done half of two today and a harissa. Anyway I was shopping in my local farm shop for ingredients this morning and when I came out to the car park an old man accosted me and pulled up his sleeve to show me a number plate he'd written on his arm. He had seen a grey 4x4 hit my car...look around and leave. I inspected the damage and its visible but not a lot...paint off and a scuff. I don't want to take it further really but it annoyed me that they knew and still took off posted his numberplate on FB and the car has been identified but not the owner. Don't know what to do...probably leave it. But Christmas is a time when people are so stressed they behave badly and part of me wants to give them a bit of a telling off.

It’s infuriating when people knowingly cause damage and take off.
I guess it depends whether you feel the cost to repair the damage is worth chasing it up.
