What I will say is.... I was in a restaurant with an open kitchen - everyone was 'up' and happy without any 'Monicaesque' attitude.  It made me think that I'd hate to be anywhere where she was dictating the mood of the room.

Yes....it seems as if they don't take everything into consideration ....and often just ignore what the critics say as well !
