Bumping for tonight's 90 minute episode.
The BBC site and the Radio Times site give slightly different details as to tonight. According to the Radio Times the 8 contestants first have to create a plate of food inspired by someone they love. 6 go through to the next stage at Grocers Hall. According to the BBC, only one goes so 7 to the next stage.
So either 7 or 8 contestants are off to Grocers Hall in London. Overseen by John Torode they have to prepare a 3 course lunch for the guests.
Back at the Masterchef kitchens they have to cook an outstanding dish for the critics Tracey MacLeod, Grace Dent, William Sitwell, Amol Rajan and Jimi Famurewa.
5 contestants get through to next week's finals.
