I was thinking beef wellington and having a pate/mushroomy thingy between the steak and the pastry so wondered how the magpie cafe did it with goat's cheese

It annoys me a bit that with MC or Prof MC the judges don't seem to take a lot of notice of how well (or not) they do in the restaurant kitchens...
