Shelina's not really Asian though. She's Mauritian.

I know it's technically in the INDIAN Ocean, but it's closer to Africa than India.

But from the limited bits I've watched ..........her cooking is almost always with an Asian twist isn't it?

TBH .............I've not been fully comitted to this series but ...............it did seem a little bit swayed in her favour.

I'm probably well out of line saying that - as I say - I've not followed this avidly!

This and when they serve the critics (last week) is my favorite. I loooove the things they make with afternoon tea.  Its odd, I really am not good at cooking, but I reckon I could bake anything.

Whereas, I'm utterly carp at baking (because I don't like the exact aspect of it).  I don't mind afternoon tea though - as long as it comes with a bottle of fizz

I agree.

I always told my niece she imagined her nut allergy.. until she ended up in A & E one night not able to breathe cos some sneaky Indian put almonds in her curry.    (i can do that <== now cos she was ok, which might just support your theory)
