I've just half watched by rewinding .....................maybe it's been said - maybe not - wasn't it a bit swayed in the girls favour (don't know her name) Asian cooking - Asian Judges?
Shelina's not really Asian though. She's Mauritian.
I know it's technically in the INDIAN Ocean, but it's closer to Africa than India.

But from the limited bits I've watched ..........her cooking is almost always with an Asian twist isn't it?
TBH .............I've not been fully comitted to this series but ...............it did seem a little bit swayed in her favour.
I'm probably well out of line saying that - as I say - I've not followed this avidly!
That woman is the token female, she hasn't got a blooming chance.
Shirley it has gotta be between the guy whose face is pulled too tight and the one with the beard? I'm backing Sarah Brightman's love child
RI materchef P Aki, I liked you!
Jay is getting a bit too sure of himself
i was thinking that.. but I think he'll be the one that doesn't make the final
oh...and he's the token 'bit of rough'
Let's see what the two judges can muster up in front of whatever Roux it is.
Then I might watch it.

Creole.
Without the coconuts.
Oh, do they not have coconuts on Mauritius?
Tom is my winner. I think hes inventive and different. The woman does just do Mauritian cooking all the time. Andrew , is so cute, and makes me want to stick up for him when they shout at him ...but he is a flapper! Jay is out, I may even pretend hes not there on wednesday, hes so gone!

Michael Roux Jr!
Notice how the three we mostly think will be the top three are all from that amazing first batch?

I don't think Andrew could handle winning.

I hope she doesn't go all Abigail's Party on us

Evening all
just caught them in the people carrier and I thought who has brought their child with them then I realised it was Andrew... bless
Andrew would cry, for sure!!! Bless
Afternoon tea must be right up your street, Gypsie...?
Andrew looks a bit manic in that chef's hat
Hi Kaffy, Amythist, Cosmo and Rawky I would love Andrew to go tonight, but I think it could be the big guy, on past performances...

baz, fluffs, gyps, amy, rawks, cos
Why is andrew doing something he can't taste... is that not silly?

This and when they serve the critics (last week) is my favorite. I loooove the things they make with afternoon tea. Its odd, I really am not good at cooking, but I reckon I could bake anything.

I don't believe in allergies...its all attention seeking if you ask me
Thank gawd Bill Oddie's not there. Grumpy, humourous little oik

I am hoping so!
Kaffy, it does appear that Andrew is being foolish but he may pull them off as he is wont to do when it looks unlikely
Jay looks dangerously close to the edge.....in more ways than one
B'lox... and he magically appears on the screen

....
Jay doesn't seem to be getting off to a good start.

Whereas, I'm utterly carp at baking (because I don't like the exact aspect of it). I don't mind afternoon tea though - as long as it comes with a bottle of fizz

I agree.
I always told my niece she imagined her nut allergy.. until she ended up in A & E one night not able to breathe cos some sneaky Indian put almonds in her curry. (i can do that <== now cos she was ok, which might just support your theory)
