From the Disraeli Gears album. Lots of bands did funny tracks then.
Shadapp ya face! was the one i was trying to remember last night FF
And this was on the back of a Fleetwood Mac single Man of the World. It was attributed to 'Earl Vince and the Valiants' although it was Jeremy Spencer in his gold lame suit and Elvis hairstyle.
Somebodys gonna get their head kicked in tonight - The Rezillos did it a long time later. But the oldie remains the goody (like me )

Eve - Are you glad or mad that I jogged your memory?
This was one of my Mum's all time favourite loony choons. She used to shimmy all around the kitchen to it and sing it at the top of her voice. To have laughed at her would have been so UNcool of me. So I used to balefully glare at her instead, in a simmering sulk

I hope I'm not repeating myself, haven't read the whole thread. This is the first record I ever bought after my mother buckled under the pressure and bought me a small record player.

Mine has already been posted My brother gave me my first record player cos when on ship in the merchnt Navy having a stylus move about with the ship was not good - so he got a tape deck & gave me his player - with it came "Where's ya mama gone"
Does anybody remember these guys?
Slim
I saw him live in the late sixties, he was gorgeous and had as many screaming fans as the Stones who came to town about 2 months later.
Oh well, 16 and hormonal. I never realised he had bad teeth.
For my husband the wonderful Mr Woo
