The Oxfam at Notting Hill/Westbourne Grove used to be the one for designer gear but they charge quite a bit for it. No fiver stuff there - it's all 30 quid upwards or roundabouts.
Still a bargain if you're getting a 500 quid dress though

I think that is the point that we have to remember. I don't mind paying money for a good second hand piece of clothing.

I recently bought a fabulous Per Una leather 3/4 length coat from a charity shop. It was virtually new and I paid £30 for it.
It would retail for 3 times that much.

I ran amok at the M&S sale tbh but did get some fab bargains.Best ones were a gorgeous raw silk 3/4 length coat/jacket which was originally £99 for £12,skirts varying from £39 to £55 for £5.and loads of other things, most were £5.

Mr L got two massive multipacks of walkers crisps for 4 quid.  We are meant to be boycotting walkers.  I haven't eaten any on principle
Why are you boycotting Walkers?

Tax dodgers!  They're registered at a Swiss PO box! Too tight to even shell out on a crappy office.

Plus they made Mr L redundant years and years ago and I've never quite forgiven them for that
