I have no sympathy for celebs like this (and Kerry Katona) who end up owing all that tax - and it annoys me that they can just 'go bankrupt'    They earned the money or they wouldn't be due tax on it.    What did they do with it all (ok, we know what happened to Kerry Katona's) do they think they've got a God given right to employment and just spend their all assuming they'll have a job when bill paying time comes around? 

 

What annoys me is that they seem to get a "reality show" out of it, thus making more money !!!

 

How easy it seems to come to some who do not appear to appreciate their good fortune.

Can she just write off her tax debts now? Unfair.

They do what companies do,declare that they have folded etc.then open a new company with a "new" director etc.

So unfair 

Don't like her! Respect her even less now, what's she been spending it on!

Can't she earn £180k

The trustees can sell all her assets and pay back as much as they can with the funds. If she has enough assets, then the debts will be paid in full. If not, then they will take any earnings she has over the next year, give her enough to live on and use the rest to pay her creditors.

It always amazes me though when celebs go bankrupt they seem to continue to live in the same house, have the same lifestyle etc yet when ordinary people go bankrupt it has a devastating effect on their lives.  

Very true. When ordinary people get into financial trouble, bailiffs are sent round - apparently if a window is open they can enter to take whatever belongings they can + even tow your car away.
