Does it matter though?  If Mario had picked John James or even Josie, it doesn't matter.  Jo will be going as she has said that she doesn't like John James.  I haven't checked the DS appreciation society but I would bet the tweenies are gunning for Jo this week.

It really doesn't matter anymore that Dave is the biggest hypocrite to walk the face of the earth, or that John James is a spoilt brat, or Mario has no integrity.  It's all down to the tweenie vote, because let's face it, they are the ones that vote.

Reference: He promised that he wouldn't pick Steve or Andrew after last week. He also promised Sam. His promises like his integrity, mean nothing
But when a Save and Replace decision has to be made, and three people are already up in a house of dwindling numbers.....Mario was faced with breaking a promise.
If he'd refused, people would have accused him of wimping out and having no backbone, no doubt!

It matters alot actually, theres no integrity at all in him, he made promises not to do things but later goes back on his word.   The guy is a liar.

Well by choosing Sam, breaking a promise and appeasing the smug lot, he proved he has no backbone. Hugely dissappointing.
Who do you think he should have chosen?

It is a game, but isnt it HOW you play the game that matters? There have been some very underhanded moves this series. Mario has been very low at times and needed, and expected, his friends to be around him. They offer him friendship and at the first opportunity he stabs them in the back, BUT, still expects them to be loyal to him? Not a very nice person in my book.

Quite frankly Katerina, any of them with the exception of Sam as he promised he wouldn't, didn't he say he wouldn't as he wanted to give a him, the newbie a chance.  Had he not said this, Sam would have been fair game too.  It's just the two facedness of it that gets me. IMO he really showed himself up for the snake in the grass I had long suspected he was.

I think he was in a near-impossible situation.....he'd promised far too many people he wouldn't put them up, you just can't do that in this game, especially at this stage too.

He hasn't done himself any favours by trying to keep friendship bonds, because at the heart of Big Brother is the possibility that you will have to stab a 'friend' in the back.

Hey, I can understand and believe me, I am NOT at all supporting Mario. It was nasty and underhanded and everything else.  My point (and this is probably not the thread to state it, but it really angers me) is that nothing any of us can do will make a blind bit of difference.  The tweenies have decided who the winner is this year and it is John James.

BB where we are supposed to see the real person,
I'm afraid I have to part with you there ~Lee~

I don't think we do see the real person - at least not since series 1.
We see people performing and portraying and doing all sorts to get a lot of money and perhaps some fame.
What is good, though, ~Lee~ , is that I still like you.

When did he make this promise, today? Haven't been able to get any life feed!

hE'S ALWAYS MAKING PROMISES, OR MAKING STATEMENTS ABOUT WHY HE PUTS UP WHO HE DOES AND THE REASONS FOR DOING SO AND THEN TOTALLY GOES BACK ON HIS PROMISES AND REASONS.

Sorry for the shouting, im not angry I just forgot to turn the caps button off. lol

I am glad Sam is up - as I said last night, he needs to learn some humility.

Sam was the only one who looked after Steve, who was worried about standing up in all that muck, i thought that was nice of him
Absolutely - but doesn't detract from how nasty he has been.
I  am not saying I want him to go - Dave is the one I am hoping will go. I would like to see a different side to Sam - BUT he swaggered into that house like he owned it and perhaps was a little too cocksure of himself.
