Let's be realistic.  Mario was ONLY EVER interested in Ben because he wanted to be part of the first ever BB gay couple.  NO other reason.  As soon as he realised he had no chance he became a nasty little bitch to Ben and has been ever since.  This nomination confirms this.

I agree.  Mario was close friends with Ife for far longer than he was chasing Ben for.  Then after Ife was evicted he's just floated around looking for people willing to listen to him whining.

I don't like that he nominated Ben... but at least Mario is his own man as far as noms go.... and doesn't run with the pack....

They had another little tiff, earlier.

Ben called Mario 'bitchy' and Mario said, "Ooh, this from the Queen of the Whisper Cub", or something.

Ben then said, "Yes, but we never whisper about you, Mario!"

So, he admits he's a bitch and he lies to his 'good friend', who is often the target of his whisperings.

Mario said that he was  (I can't remember the word) but somewhat besotted about Ben for the first week. Then realised he was wrong, and their relationship took on a new nature and found its own level.
We should remember (as several housemates commented before evictions) that we are now approaching that period when they have to start nominating people they like.
It's how Big Brother works.
There will only be a little leeway now with 3 new housemates. But from now on there will be no option but to nominate people you have liked and got on well with.
It has to be.
Just maybe of course he is fed up of being slagged by Ben.
But they will all have to turn on each other now. It's the way the game works.

People should really forget the relationship Ben and Mario had during the first week. That doesn't exist any more. They manage to get on. But that's it!
