I've hardly seen any of this BB, but that bloke made me nearly wet my pants/kick the telly the other night, pontificating about why he and the others were picked.

Angel's there because of her exercising.
Noirin's the girl next door.
Sophie's the "tit" girl and her and Karly were picked for their looks - along with HIMSELF.

I thought that house was full of mirrors - can he not see what he looks like? Crazy

D'ya think he meant that he was there for his looks because they're not conventional?
I think thats probably what he meant Laugh

No, he thinks he's good-looking. In the first week, he seemed to think all the women in the house fancied him, just because they spoke to him Confused

Probably not used to it. Utter weirdo Crazy

Oh lordy, we're all at odds over this one, aren't we?
I wouldn't bet my house on it either way as I haven't watched him closely enough to even begin to think I know him that well.

FWIW....I don't find him attractive. I don't like the mullet and I've got a slight fascination with the jaw thing too.

Have to say that I haven't seen him come across as vain, but I know I could be wrong.

Hmmmmm.... I take on board what you're saying, Cosmo and others, but I've not seen enough evidence that he;s got enough brain power to be ironic.

He doesn't seem to have many social skills at all. Did he seriously think it was OK to tell Freddie his "purpose" in the house - and the reason he was picked - was for others to laugh at and pick on?

Whatever he says, he seems to think he's right, and no other explanation would enter his head.

As I said earlier, I'm no expert on the fella.

I think his intentions are meant kindly but he seems to forget he needs to gild them a bit to make them more palatable.

I think there's some truth in Freddie being picked for 'laughs'. It's backfired somewhat because those now picking on him are neither witty or generous in their humour. They're merely mean spirited. Marcus possibly has failed to see that Fred is more than up to their antics.(?)

Perhaps Marcus is trying to play fair and isn't managing it with his foot in mouth words?

I dunno, do you think any of the above is anywhere near the mark? Or am I widely off beam? Big Grin

I think you're more generous in your assessment of him that I would be! Big Grin
I haven't seen much good in him - he strikes me as the sort of boring bullshiner you avoid down the pub. Full of self-importance and an opinion on everything. Full of poo, actually. Big Grin

I didn't see that. What an idiot - is he so flippin desperate to fit in with Lisa's crowd that he makes it clear he would NOT defend anyone they pick on?

Gaspingly immature for a bloke that age. At least Cairon's got being a child as an excuse.

I probably am being nicer about him than he deserves; I'm sure truth will out, as they say.

At the moment I've got more annoying HM's to crucify, so Marcus is merely on my 'Fair to Middling' radar. Big Grin
