There is one reason and one reason only he behaved the way he did last night in the diary room re the task; As he was aware that the rest of the hms were watching him on the screen, 14 year old Marcus reared his as equally ugly head as "normal" Marcus, and decided he was plain and simple gonna SHOW OFF! Shake Head For Gods sake. This man is sad! Wanting the other hms to think that he dont give a toss what BB say to him etc etc. Acting like he can say and do whatever he likes to BB, all for effect. It was all so unbelievably contrived and my, did it backfire on him. What was it he said to Sree EVERY time a task was announced... oh, yeah ... that was it; "Dont **** up the task Sree"! Mad Mad Mad He is the biggest tosser in there by a mile and I tell you now, had any other hm done what he did last night, he would be the very first one to go into meltdown about it the second they stepped out of the diary room. He would still be spitting feathers right now. What a pathetic creature he really is.And NO MARCUS the viewers WILL NOT be shouting "YAY" when watching footage of you being a complete numbskull again!! Grow up man! URGH!!! LOSER!!

Clapping I absolutely agree, great post! He was showing off in the DR because he knew the others were watching him and he wanted to be Mr Macho Man but HIS FACE when he came out and realised the HMs were utterly pissed off with him for losing the tokens was a joy to behold! Big Grin

Then he has the damn nerve to say to BB (and us viewers) that he did it for the ratings? What a load of absolute bloody crap!! His little stunt in the DR backfired spectacularly Big Grin. That idiotic, immature tw@t has brought everything on himself.

I don't really know any more than OP what his motivations were, though if I were guessing I'd say that (as much as people don't like to admit it) he's a human being and he's going through a bad time at the moment, he released his emotions in a way that was basically pretty harmless.

Also feeling bad about the impact on the group he gave up personal tokens and some of his food budget to compensate.

But whatever the reason, it was great TV.
Comrade Ogilvy
I've tried so hard to like this guy and I know I've been harsh but the way he leered over Noirin and pawed at her in the first place, the way he wouldn't take no for an answer no matter how many times she said they would ONLY be friends, the way he's tried to control her, the way he speaks to HMs in such a crude, aggressive, sexual manner, the way he sat sulking in the pool looking like a flippin' natajack toad and the way he aggressively exploded in the DR with his ridiculous macho act prevent me from doing so!
Disappointed

He seems to exist in his head as an action hero/rebel/hard man when in fact he is immature, defensive and given the chance of a small bit of affection behaves like a grateful child. Sad.

You should send him a new pair of pop-socks, that would brighten his mood Valentine

Alot of that is just his humour. For someone who DOES think he is cool look at Siavash, I think he is actually quite arrogant.

I agree about Siavash and his dressing up box, plaited beard and 'whassup Biggie' swagger, but Marcus' humour is just lost on me.

So, you think he was lying about it being a performance, for the viewers?
You think that was real emotion? Glance

It was obviously done for humour, most people could see that at the time. No attempt at trying to con the viewers. His swearing wasn't for humour but Siavash has sworn at BB before (as have others probably) and never been punished.

Anyway I'm really talking about his behaviour and his stand in the house to other HMs, which seems to me to be genuine enough. Do you think his opinion of how Sree was defended by BB wasn't genuine? If you do then not many would agree with you.
