Thats when the conversation ended and she was really upset and was wanted to go in the diary room. Bea and Freddie were still awake and were comforting her and I think Noirin said she wanted to leave cos of how Marcus rejected her friendship. Thats all I saw as I went to bed after that. What does everyone think???

It sounds to me (haven't seen it) as though marcus has just had enough, feels weakened and desolate. Of course he won't be able to be "friends" with her until he feels stronger and gets over her and she can't expect otherwise. I know she thinks she ought to be confused by this and will say that upsets her but really she should know that he has to take a huge step back in order to try and repair the damage to himself. It's not about "rejecting friendship" and I wish Noirin would see this. It's about preserving shreds of dignity and letting her go so she can't have that hold over him any more.
