lol and how exactly would Noirin avoid seeing Marcus in that tiny house?

Did you just read the report? He's the one pushing and pulling.

Why the need to go under the duvet to chat? Why can't he just chat out in the open? Why did he need to pull apart her personality again? Or the fact she likes Vash? Then he starts on the other hm's again What has her friendship with him got to do with slagging off the others? Once again with Marcus, it's all about control. She's socialising with the others instead of hiding away in a different room with him.

Then the 'I wish you fancied me' because if she did she might listen to and do what he says?

<shudder> That is not a friendship.

Yes. I read the report. I've also seen him keep away from her and her approach him. Sunday night he even went to the DR to get away from the 'beg be friends'. I'm assuming you haven't been watching.. ?

I wonder what part of

quote:
Marcus was sprawled across the chairs in the Garden, covered with a duvet, and Noirin came over to join him.

is him pushing or pulling? Or what part of him saying he doesn't want to be friends, he doesn't want to talk about it and generallly keeping away is him doing the 'push me, pull me'?

I am not a Marcus fan, but lets be fair here.. he has not reacted in the explosive way some non-fans would like to have seen.. so he keeps away (wise move on his part) and she chases him around to 'patch things up' and that's even his fault. Lordy..

As for your other comments.. if you want my opinion, I think it is quite clearly stated in previous posts in this thread.. I'm not going to recreate them here.

What's wrong with her approaching him? It's what adults do after a falling out. He's acting like a big baby simply because he couldn't get in her knickers. 'Beg be friends'? Hardly! He's causing an atmosphere because he can't handle losing control over Noirin. He admitted as much here.. "I wish you fancied me. It's amazing how much you listen to people just cos you fancy them."

The blokes a controlling arse.

She approached him like an adult and all he could do was put her down, bitch about the other hm's and try it on again Roll Eyes

Nothing. But, in response to me posting that he would be better off keeping away from her and not getting involved in the 'push you, pull you', you said he was the one doing it. I pointed out it was she who approached him: as she has been doing since the NoirVash thing came out and he quite clearly said he wanted nothing to do with her.

She has been approaching him: I could agree with you that it is the other way around, but that's not the case and is not borne out by the 'evidence'. If it is the case then I would question why all the posts about him 'sulking' and keeping away from her.

I don't know what is going on in his head or his motivations for saying what he says or doing what he does. I can voice an opinion but can not say with any certainty. By the same token neither can you.

As for your comments on his alleged controlling and abusive behaviour.. you may say that, I couldn't possibly comment.

Are you bored now? Because I am.

I will keep on saying it until I'm blue in the face. Noirin is a player with a gameplan that blew up in her face. Hence these 'frienships' she's desperate to form with any male with a pulse.

Marcus is a complete and utter twonk...but and it's a big but, he has more entertainment value than Noirin, so she should go and he should stay.

I'd like to see what Marcus is like when his love interest has gone and if he's different.

Pushing, pulling is exactly what he's doing, he doesn't want to be friends but he wants to get with her? He doesn't like her yet he wants in her knickers. Dude needs to make up his mind.

By the way, i didn't call him abusive, you did.

She probably doesn't want to be friends either. So what is your point? Hang on, you're going to say yes she does and she is the only one who comes to the table open handed, without agenda, without ulterior motive? If you do then I'm afraid we're never going to agree and will continue to go around in circles. Because I've seen the LF, I seen the HL show, I've seen the VT. If someone is very manipulative (her words) then it is not a leap to suspect she could be so with regard to Marcus.

Controlling someone is a form of abuse. I have not called him controlling.. you have.

I am bored of repeating myself.. Wouldn't you be? Hopefully it won't continue.

Oh you're back good..

I'll answer your question if you answer my earlier question.

You have a daughter. She comes home from school in floods of tears because one of the other girls tore her personality apart, made fun of her physical appearance and made her cry.

What would you think about the kind of girl who could do that?

Now I said school, but that could equally apply to the office, college, university, local gym.. anywhere that people interact.

I look forward to your response.

Tupps I have no wish to go there with you. You are basing this on her VT ......they all go OTT on their VT and I have seen no evidence of this behaviour from her in the house.

If you honestly think it's relevant then obviously I'd be mortified if someone treated my daughter that way but I dont think it proves anything TBH.

Babbled. I see. Again with the attitude from the Noirin supporters. Roll Eyes Ok, fair enough, if that's the way the discussion is to turn.

Yes I am bored of repeating the same thing time after time after time. As are other people who have taken off the blinkers and chosen to try and see all sides of a situation. It gets a little tedious having to do that you see, especially when you've done it several times in the same thread.. in fact that is when it becomes VERY annoying.. because that says to me people are too lazy to read the thread.

Had you brought another angle to the discussion of my comment, I may not have been so fatigued. You didn't.

In case you hadn't noticed, I don't give a flying **** what her motives are for approaching him to talk. No, really, I don't. I made a comment based on what the house has been like since he wised the hell up and stayed away from her. If I were BB's psychologist, or BB, or anyone who gave the slightest inkling of a **** in that house I'd say the same. I don't support the guy, I don't support her. But it is plain as the nose on your face that he is better off keeping the hell away from her.. and she is better off keeping the hell away from him. Now, he seems to me to have been managing that quite well and should continue, hence my post. If you think they should kiss and make up and start the whole shambles again, then more power to you.. I don't agree.. end of discussion huh?

As for the VT thing, that one has been covered to. But just for you I'll sum it up in a nutshell. What she said in her VT she has also said in the house and backed up by action. That's pretty irrefutable. But if you've evidence to the contrary, please share it with the group.. no need to address it to me, there are I am sure a lot of FMs who would be interested.

I reckon we've exhausted this now. If you have any other opinions on what I have said I can pretty much guarantee you'll find the response already in the thread.

Of course you have no wish to go there. Because to do so would mean you have to question your support of a HM who has done the very thing you are chastising another HM who you don't support for.

OTT VT.. yes they do. Difference is, she has also said much the same in the house apropos manipulation, bitchiness, self absorption and control. Difference is she has shown this. You of course will continue to dispute this: no matter, it is on tape.

I haven't seen her reduce someone to floods of tears by ripping into their physical appearance nor have I seen her tear someones personality apart ................like you I'm getting tired of repeating myself - they all go the extra mile on the VT ..it's what sets them apart from the thousands of others.

hmm, well breaking the habit of this bb lifetime, i have to agree with tupps,in so far, they are much better off without each other, she can't have the friendship she wants and he can't have the relationship he wants, neither is going to shift, all they will do is paper over the cracks and try to make do until some thing else hits the fan.
i think noirin is wanting to restore the friendship, and marcus will want to restore what he thought was there, but wasn't.

so that's not gonna work... Laugh

i also saw her vt and it made me smile, i think it's pretty truthful, possibly exaggerated to some degree, bearing in mind it's an audition tape for bb, but all in all it's probably quite near the truth.

but we all have warts and blemishes, i know i do, i don't find hers any worse than any of the other hm's.

Hey if you can't take it than don't dish it in the 1st place with your "are you bored yet, cause i am" comment. Attitude indeed! Big Grin
Your "Yes I am bored of repeating the same thing time after time after time. As are other people who have taken off the blinkers and chosen to try and see all sides of a situation" comment sounds exactly like something Marcus would say, very arrogant imo. Nevermind the fact that you are preaching that you're seeing all sides when you have been very one sided.

Staying the hell away from each other in that enviroment is impossible and honestly very childish. If he stopped trying it on they could still have a friendship, he chooses to harrass her non stop hoping she'll cave in. That is what has caused all the drama. She doesn't like him like that and he is the one that needs to accept this and move on.

When did i say they need to kiss and make up? I said it's better to clear the air. She's tried to do that, all he could think of was to try it on, again Roll Eyes

Perhaps the discussion about the VT can be had in the VT thread? Everybody goes OTT on their VT's. It's a tired old argument and happens every year.

He was a friend to her whether you like that or not. Without Marcus she would have infinitely less interesting. Marcus will also be remembered for other things like his stories, his enthusiasm in tasks, his creation of a group to combat Lisa, his opposition to BB and other things.

I agree with that, it's such a shame that Noirin had to go and spoil it and that he let her.

I haven't seen her reduce someone to floods of tears by ripping into their physical appearance nor have I seen her tear someones personality apart ................like you I'm getting tired of repeating myself - they all go the extra mile on the VT ..it's what sets them apart from the thousands of others.

As I have seen no evidence - I think you're made up scenario was quite irrelevant.

And there really is no need to thank me.

Laugh

you're a bit of a rude madam aren't you.. Roll Eyes luckily for you I'm not going to stoop to a personal attack on you.. but it's not for lack of material.. Wave

I said, aren't you bored yet, because I am.. of the circle jerk argument.. meh, but if you want to see that as being written 'aren't you bored yet, you're boring' then who am I to stop you.. Roll Eyes. And as for the latter 'quote', if someone becomes terrier like with misdirected sarcasm then they can't be surprised if they are met with the same. I have seen both sides: if you are bored then check my post history fro my pro Noirion comments.

Detaching is not impossible in a close environment. It is more than physical proximity. Marcus seemed to be able to do that and did, Noirin seems unable. She can not compute someone not talking to her or being around her or being her 'friend'.

They have cleared the air. They did so on the night the Siavash feelings came out to the others. She had him in the kitchen and cleared it, he said his piece, it ended with him essentially saying he wanted nothing more to do with it. The air was pretty clear.

The OTT on the vid thing is indeed a valid argument. After all Rachel's last year was the antithesis to her persona in the house. Unfortunately for Noirin... hers isn't.

Well of course they do in the context of the issues at hand.

My posts on Quantum Physics are even more adversarial. People often have no idea about how to work out the probability density for electrons in a potential well. Just as several people on this forum have no idea about Noirin, who is one of the stars of the series and misunderstood by people who are unable to make a thoughtful analysis of her or appreciate the problems of a sensitive and attractive girl assailed by lots of passionate admirers.

Yep, as you say, when people remember BB10 then will think of Marcus creating a group in opposition to Lisa. That will be the enduring memory.

Oh wait, except that he didn't create a group, as he is more of a loner than just about anybody else, and he himself was adamant that he didn't create nor was a member of any groups.

The delusional drivel continues.
