There's a fine line between love and hate and while just a week ago, it was all billing and cooing, the relationship between Marcus and Noirin is slowly turning into a cat fight. And with both of them unlikely to let the other have the last word, it was a face-off like no other…

"Are you strong then Noirin?" Marcus asked Noirin as the housemates sat around discussing the various roles for the Shopping Task.

"Yes, I'm very strong," said Noirin snippily, "but I don't appreciate people saying I'm lazy."

"Get off your high horse," laughed Marcus. So, she promptly got off her high horse and put on her battle dress.

"I'm not on a high horse," hissed Noirin, "but you've said it so many times now it's starting to get on my nerves."

"Yeah, but everything gets on your nerves," Marcus shot back at her.

"That's why I'm telling you," said Noirin.

But Marcus isn't one to go quietly and this occasion was no different. "All you have in here is people who agree with you, that's why I say the opposite," said Marcus. "If there's a way of doing something and you don't do it the way it's supposed to be done and you take a short cut, that's being lazy."

"Give me an example of that in the House," spat Noirin.

"I'll give you an example of that when it happens," Marcus said back.

Oh dear. It was all going so well.

She has bit of more than she can chew with Marcus, he,s not going to take being "dumped" that easy. I think the nasty side of Marcus is really going to come to the fore now. Noirin has brought it on herself

Not entirely no. Call me old fashioned, but females shouldn't sit on men's laps and offer to show their breasts for a can of cidar and then get all upset when the bloke takes it the wrong way and wants more

It's a developing pattern. IMO, she was constantly sending Sree mixed messages. It got her the attention and the airtime. It got her sympathy from the other housemates and then Marcus came to her rescue.

Again, she sent Marcus mixed messages in the same way. She got attention and airtime. Once she has gotten all she can get from him, she will move on.

On the whole, I think women expect better things from women than we do men. *shrugs*

Oh dear "A person spurned..."
Marcus thinks he knows it all (which he doesn`t).
Noirin, it seems to me, has been less than honest and open to others in order to preserve her popularity. If she is some sort of `manager` she should have shown better communication.
I have never understood Marcus`s attempt to separate his feelings in the house with his feelings outside. He says he would fancy Noirin outside, but it`s not practical to do so in the house. Nonsense - he either fancies or he doesn`t. Silly man. Not an expert after all.

I feel sorry for them sometimes, because we do give them mixed signals and then moan when they take the signals the wrong way. I mean, how is a guy supposed to know what is on our mind when we are flashing our boobs at them or sitting on their laps.
