It'll only go to show what the UK has come to if they vote for an immature, foul mouthed, disgusting, aggressive 35 year old man like Marcus to win.
so you could actually say that about Rodrigo too
Rodrigo has a bad temper and needs help with that but the last two times he's kicked off, it was hardly surprising IMO. Having your bed and mattress soaked in water so you can't sleep on it would make a saint shout. The same goes for when Charlie kept screeching his head off the other night when Roddy was fast asleep (had to mute him on my telly he was so loud so gawd knows what it sounded like being in there!).
Rodrigo has good, strong morals and tries hard to do the right thing. He is polite and courteous and his family should be proud of him.
Marcus is a terrible role model.
Agree Marcus is vile
Rodrigo to win Don't mind Siavash
winning but hopefully Rodrigo
Endemol don't want him to win as the continuing bias against him on programs like BBBM would indicate. But if most of the audience don't watch that maybe it would be less of a factor.
Whether he 'wins' or not he is still the true winner (just like Victor was in BB5). People watch Big Brother for entertainment not to watch some nice inconsequential person who we could live with. It's not meant to be holding someone up as an example of how we should live. If that was the case Hira would have had this show in the bag immediately after she entered the house.
It shouldn't be about who people think is the best looking as well, because that also isn't real entertainment. That is just looking at people purely through surface appearance which is what no doubt alot of the audience do.

If Marcus gets to the final, he really could win it.
Think about it this way. We'll likely have Charlie/Rodrigo/Sophie in the final, and a ton of votes are going to get split between them. Then there is Saivash, who stands an excellent chance at winning (no split vote there), and then there is the dark horse himself.
Marcus has the one thing that could make a win possible. A fanbase. A growing fanbase at that.
If Bea is up this week, she will go. Then there is only one eviction left after that.
Hopefully the last eviction will include Lisa. If Lisa is up, she will go.
Close your eyes and just imagine it. "And the winner... of Big Brother 2009... is... MARCUS!!!"
NO
He'll never win it in a million years, trust me .
yes but lets face it he deserves to win more than anyone else in there really
bloody hell .... I hope not ..... his head is big enough (god knows why the foolish pillock)
God forbid!! he should win
God forbid!! he should win
He is a control freak he controlled Noireen and is a manipulator, foul mouthed and has no respect for women , he sits and sulks on his own with his duvet staring at everyone

Noirin was the manipulator in the house. The person who has been sitting and doing nothing for quite a while now has been Siavash.

Why can't people like Victor and Marcus be entertaining without being so vile is the real question. I remember Victor's nasty tirade against the blonde girl in the Wedding task which ultimately got him evicted.

Indeed, the 'big' characters in the house are often just barstewards!
Yes, I can see Marcus winning.
I hope Marcus does not win, because I can not stick bullshitters, and thats exactly what he is.
He bangs on about telling people exactly what he thinks of them
then when Bea left the diary room, he had a go to BB about her.
Why did he not say it to her face?
There has been lots of incidents like this, Siavash thinks Marcus is his friend, he has never told Siavash any difference.
All above I know is not that important but I can still see him go to the garden under his quilt watching Nikki Graham, not listening to Noirin.
Trying to be a rebel, so planned and fake.
Still best wishes to those who like and support him but I hope he does not even get to the end

Siavash or Rodrigo will win , bonus for Marcus is that he has picked up some votes from Freddie fans now.
One night his mantra is "You should be thinking about what 4 million people think of you" and a couple of nights later, "You shouldn't be thinking about what 4 million people think of you"!!

Didn't the 'blonde girl' go into a bit of a tirade herself also? This is what I mean about most of the audience only caring about appearances. Sophie looks cute and sweet, but she bitches and is two-faced. But people ignore the second part. Alot of the audience is shallow and will only judge on stereotypes rather than on the reality.
Thread on Siavash now on DS. Predictably the Siavash supporters seem extremely shallow. All they care about are looks.

No she didn't go into a tirade, it was Victor who ruined the whole task by shouting obscenities at her and even called her a c**t. Since time began, I'm sure everyone has talked about other HMs behind their backs so Sophie is no different no matter what the hell she looks like.
Marcus has been downright disgusting with his comments and his remarks are nearly always sexist or sexual. He is aggressive and at times shown childish immaturity when dealing with situations and that is the reality of the 35 year old man imo.
quote:AHH, Rod has a 'bad temper' and "needs help with that".......... move on,
and yet, Marcus on the otherhand is "foul mouthed and aggressive and immature" WHEN has Marcus ever 'kicked off' in the same way Roddy has? when has Marcus been physically aggressive towards another HM in the same way Rod has?
people say Marcus is 'imature' I say can someone point ME to the rule book that deals with 'maturity issues' cause at the age of 56 I am concerned that I might be breaking one or two rules myself and the thought that this might upset some folk is keeping me awake at night. NOT!!!
Its MY life and I will live it however the hell I want to,
and no doubt Marcus would give you a similar answer, what do YOU WANT him to do? wear a cardigan n slippers smoke a pipe potter in the garden play golf and quietly wait for the reaper?
I like and admire Marcus for several reasons, ONE being he is without doubt THE realest HM EVER to enter the BB house, but MAINLY because he gets RIGHT up the noses of the shallow and the judgemental,
and LONG may he continue to do so,

And I've heard that Shell called Victor a c**t first, so you are just looking at him as being worse because he is bigger, again you are just looking at stereotypes.

You have got that the wrong way round...
He has never faced up to the men only the WOMAN in the house he sits and backstabs the men then he is nice to their faces, actually tell a lie he bullied Sree because he dared like Noireen .quote:Originally posted by wonder:

IF he bullied Sree..... which he clearly didn't, there's no way he would have been kept in the house. After the Shilpa incident BB adopted a zero tolerance policy which Im sure you are well aware of

Victor told Jason, the night before the Wedding Task, that he was going to deliberately be horrible to Shell, to wind her up.
It worked, she called him a c***, and he flipped his lid and got evicted.
Good game plan, Victor Misnomer!

Constantly targetting Sree with criticism and abuse - definitely bullying behaviour.

With less than 45 minutes coverage on HL show I don't think anyone can jump to the assumption that it was "constantly targetting"

Oooh, snogs!
The winner is usually one that is neither hated nor particularly liked. Rodrigo or Sophie will be this years winner because they are just coasting along without any real 'haters'
my opinion only of course

Seemingly persistent and unwarranted abuse, on a regular basis?

I'm not looking at stereotypes. I got the Shell thing the wrong way round but she didn't go round calling everyone that. Victor was aggressive and foul mouthed and to be honest, I'm just sick of men in the BB House trying to control everything and the way they have to belittle the women but will never tackle another man head on (ie the night when Marcus said some really nasty things to Freddie about Siavash but didn't have the balls to say it to his face).
HMs have gone to Marcus for advice but really, so what? It doesn't mean he's the most mature person in there. I do so want to like him but I can't stand him and he won't win thank God because his personality on so many occasions has been beyond vile.

Marcus constantly shouted Sree down, belittled him infront of everyone and generally harrassed him, nothing at all to do with him being Indian, it was because of Noirin. It was bullying in my eyes. Plus there is LV every night so this isnt taken on a 45 minute Hl show

Nope Sree was a persistantly annoying little twerp....I'm being kind to him here Marcus never said or did anything to Sree that could be classed as abuse
WEEEELL, its at that point in the show now where people's minds are pretty much made up when it comes to which HM they like or dislike, opinions have been formed, and most people will stick to their faves, ignoring or overlooking their faults, while at the same time never missing a chance to have a pop at the HMs they DONT like,
very few FMs ever change their opinions one way or the other because of what is said HERE,
and this somtimes begs the question, what IS the point of coming here?
I certainly am gonna give up trying to explain MY reasons for supporting Marcus to people who think that "swearing" is "BAD" or (EVIL) cause the gap between us is vast, and quite frankly I cant be bothered.

I've watched LF every night since the start and there has never been any bullying from Marcus. Like I said before BB will never tolerate that kind of behaviour anymore

What about the women in there that have belittled Marcus like Sophie and Lisa? Even so Marcus has given helpful advice to various females in there such as Sophie, Noirin and Bea. Marcus is a leader and not a sheep like others in there. Marcus has definitely told Siavash to his face that he has had problems with him.

Maybe bullying isn't the right word Tequila... but he certainly appeared to belittle him on occasions....IMO.
