I don't sign up to forums to look for a reaction... if I really wanted one I would of said "I don't like Nadia because he is a transexual". I told you, im not judging Nadia by that...I couldnt care less about her being transexual, il accept her either way. Im judging her by her actions in the house.

It's not "sheep" Vids.  A huge, giant section of the UK are the most disgustingly bigoted load of morons.

What you have here, on this forum is something that is called "The Pearl Jam effect" (yes after the band)...initially it was to do with illegal downloading but it can also be used to describe internet fora.

In short...people who use places like this (or originally napster etc) tend to be Democrats if American, centrists or left if UK, reasonably educated, socially liberal, all for equal ops etc...  They tend not to reflect the views of the uneducated and obviously not those who aren't of the internet generation.  We are not the sheep, we learn, we decide for ourselves.  The sheep are the tabloid reading masses who never stop to consider anything outside of their front doors.

I think that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I personally think however that to call Nadia a he when by law she is a woman is just inflamming...
I mean if someone posted a racist remark on here, we would all be horrified and say so.

Reference: I didnt think it would cause such offense, seen it used elsewhere and it didnt get any attention. I didnt set out to upset anyone, clearly it did... This is where his argument fails imo. Yes, if she suffered at the hands of Coolio in the manner described then that's not on, but to try and excuse all of her aggressiveness, intimidation and bitchiness towards other hms as being a direct result of Coolio's behaviour towards her just doesn't wash with me I'm afraid

Nope it doesn't wash with me as well. I think (if it;s true) Coolios comments and behaviour were inexcusable. I will defend Nadia against his and anyone else's attack on her position re trans gender surgery.
I think though that she was evicted for simply being a nasty, aggresive,bitchy character. Nothing can excuse that ........she is simply not a nice person IMO and all this trans gender/PC stuff becomes irrelevant. You're either nice or you're not. She's not IMO.

when an hm is not  mentioned at all during  the evictees interviews, it's almost as if they never existed, this was the case regarding makosi's and nadia's interviews.
not a word about coolio, nowt, nuffin, bugger all....

always a sure sign to me that some thing has gone on and lawyers are involved,they won't be allowing  interviewees to say anything that would affect any lawsuits.

therefore i conclude , in my own mind, that there is probably a strong element of truth in marco's claims.

given that trans gendered people are still looked upon as oddities by a large percentage of the population, (not an idea shared by myself btw) would it not have been wise for nadia not to have entered a tv show which is renowned for controversy.
I am not condoning anyones behaviour towards her or the booing of the crowd but maybe getting her own head straight & adapting to her life would have been a better option... just a thought

i think one of the main reasons she entered (last time) was to gain acceptance and raise awareness of trans gender surgery and indeed she did .....she won the show.

Sometimes it's OK to return to a show like this - sometimes it's not (Jade anyone). I think through winning BB Nadia really does have an over inflated sense of her own ego. She didn't come across very well and of course this time round she wasn't the underdog.

My opinion of her stays the same... loud-mouthed and annoying. I don't think anyones reaction to it would be any different on here regardless of her gender (or at least you hope not). The booing she got is what the majority of HMs face...im guessing it came as a shock to Nadia as last time she did walk down those stairs she got a good reception. BB has always been a controversial show, it will either make you or break you.... Jade was a great example of that. First time she appeared on the show she came out quite a success, then few years later when she re-entered and came out, she was in a huge race row.

No idea what would cause someone to throw eggs at her car though. Its not like she did anything as bad Alexandra or Dennis.

been catching up on this and the other thread and found a lot of the posts thought provoking and very interesting..   a few, only a few tho .. not so much

Anyway I agree tis sad when saddo's attack the home of someone just because they don;t like what they saw on TV...

I always watched the LF as well as the HL show and agree Nadia was no different in the way she reacted to  situations on both her BB outings..  but the editing of the two BB's HL shows was completely different..   I wasn't keen on her at all  in her first outing and could see no change or maturity in her second outing unlike some of the others who seem to have grown up a bit..

In fact after winning last time was she not in the Priory or some such place for treatment?

I think that the whole Coolio situation was outrageous and should have been shown and not hidden [tho now BB are showing it by not dipping the sound when the HM talk about it albeit they waited til Nadia went to do this] but I do also think that once again she is in 'drama queen' mode and has finally realised that the superstar BB winner she thought she was, was in fact not a real achievement that warranted the Diva status she created for herself... after all, all she had done was won a gameshow..

Am sure once she's had her latest  tantrum  [some of it deservedly considering what she came out to] and calmed down to a 'thinking rationally' mood she will finally  go and get her head sorted out and her anger problems dealt with, which is what she should have done years ago, long before BB5... hopefully she will keep out of the medias eye and her close friends and family will ensure she gets sorted properly...

yes those things too Mono ..  tho I have to be honest and say whenever I post about Nadia I post in relation to her character traits not her gender  reassignment  ie the person as a whole . .if that makes sense .. brain dead atm.. ..

tho for raising awareness of transgender I think the BBC2 programme following the lives of people in Paddington, shown late at night long before Nadia was ever heard of, did a lot to raise awareness as  one of  he characters was a transexual tho not fully post op and they followed her story thru all it's ups and downs.. ...  documentary's on the subject that I had seen help with understanding  too . etc ..

as for her therapy session pre op maybe they were more to do with making sure she wanted to change than also dealing with her other problems  too. .?
