You are not kidding about the price of things. We went out to price 3piece suites on Saturday, what a shocker! Even the sale prices were quite expensive.

Managed to find a cream leather suite, 3 seater, 2 seater and 1 reclining chair for £650, probably won't last 5 minutes with 6 adults in the house tho'

You got a good deal on that suite, hun. Our last suite cost us over £2000 and it has lasted for a while, but we simply don`t have that kind of money to spend this time. I think we`ll have to shop around to get a good deal.

Our last one cost £4,000 and it has lasted for 14 years (DFS btw, the suite was probably only about £1000) so hasn't done bad, mind you i'm running out cushions to cover the bare patches, and we have to get a new carpet cos one of the legs fell off and OH propped it up with a hammer and it's made a huge hole in the ruddy carpet, the muppet
