The best eyebrow pencils I've bought are Models Prefer, but now known as YBF, I've been using them for years and no other pencils come anywhere near as good. They are available from QVC at around £18.00 + PP for 2.

I can't help you there I use black.

I even use eyeliner at times.  I don't have sharpie brows...oh now it sounds like I do

Thanks, Essex Angel - I'll try the YBF ones if you think they're good.  They're out of stock at the moment, though, so I'll have to make my current one last (only got about an inch left)

Leccy, black would look weird on me, I think.  What are sharpie brows?

Can't help you as I don't use them - maybe I should, I have dead weird eyebrows... all thin at one side

Thanks, SazBomb.  Did you know that you can get these eyebrow templates (I've seen them on qvc) that you put onto your face, then draw in your chosen eyebrow shape.  I've no idea how effective they are, but could be a laugh.

Hi Sarum.  You've got good eyebrows, though, whereas I have to buy special pencils to avoid the 2-caterpillars-above-the-eyes look.

If you google it there's loads of stuff.

My eyebrows (and lashes) were burned off by an idiot with a bunsen burner. When they grew back the half from the nose outwards was mid brown and the rest was blonde so it looks like I only have half an eyebrow over each eye.

Just want to agree with Essex Angel,the Models Prefer now known as YBF,are the only one i have used for years,they are usually available on ebay if QVC are out of stock,i know this because i panic if i havn't got one and a spare.And it's good to know it's something i never have to make a decision about as well

I use Rimmel Eyeliner pencil to do my brows,They come in all natural colours,they are soft to  use,I find eyebrow pencils difficult to get the colour on they seem to in the end scratch the skin.I think as long as you use good make cream on your  skin,it's ok to use a cheaper product on the top.

Bojangles, I have really crap skin that gets irritated by the slightest thing.  Even some so called moisturisers burn and leave my face falling off (not quite that dramatic but I mean LOADS of dry flaky skin)

Even aqueous cream has started to fry my face (On Drs recommendation too!)...the only cream my skin is tolerating at the moment is the 2 quid a pot stuff from Aldi

Trust me to be contrary.
