Zeus is totally crazy, and possibly the most soppy, gentle, loving cat I have ever known, and little Atlas know this and take full advantage!

I got in the middle of them fighting a couple of times recently and they have bitten me by mistake...Zeus is hardly biting when he fights, whereas Atlas is sinking in all his teeth and claws poor poor Zeus!!

Wow, that's great! They'll have many hours of fun out there, won't they?

I took Kenji to our lake house this weekend, and we had him on the deck for awhile, which I do my best to close off to keep him there.  However, one of my "barricades" failed, and suddenly, I had no cat! We finally found him by the front porch, looking a bit confused and stressed out. Whew!

Huw the hamster has been re-christened Huw-dini.

On account of his two daring escapes so far. first was at MiL's, while she was looking after him when we were on holiday. He forced the top door on his cage and no-one noticed until he strolled by on the carpet while they were watching telly. Could have been out for 24 hours.

Then, back with us, he forced the front door on his cage and was gone all night and most of next day. Turned up in the kitchen with an "Is that roast chicken I can smell cooking?" look on his face.

Now he's got bulldog clips on his cage doors...

When my sisters kids were little they looked after the school gerbil. It got out - they hunted high and low. They eventually heard a scratching in the oven - it had climbed in through the back - thank God it wasn't dinner time!

Har!  Deman,my Jake the hammy got out a few days ago,(because   I left his cage door open after giving him a peanut or two)  However I went into the room and saw a ginger  rodent trundling along the skirting board  behind my Tv.Bugger! I thought, that's a big bloody mouse!

jake then stood up on his hind legs and I  thought it's Jake! Captured and put back in his cage,he was out for about an hour.

Hugo the Bengal kitten is hyper,I'm scratched to buggery with him,he plays rough. His  favourite toys are plastic straws, you hold them up about five feet and more against a wall and  rattle them ,he leaps straight up and try to catch them ,usually he catches me instead! I have a four  inch scratch along the back of my hand,I didn't move quick enough.

The rota is still going strong,I now have bolts on the bedroom doors to make sure the rabbit, hammy, budgie never "meet" Hugo.

post by owner:

The time has come where I am no longer able to take care of Suki.

She is 3 years old (was 3 on 1st June). She is our only pet at home and she spends a lot of time by herself. Suki loves attention and when Im home, she refuses to leave my lap. The problem is no one is hardly ever home and she doesn't get the attention she deserves and needs. Suki has been brought up as a house cat and we haven't let her outside unattended. Although she does love going outside and bolts out of the door when I'm outside. She has shown a lot of interest in other cats when in our garden or when watching them through the back door, so thats a positive.

I hope to find someone who already has at least one cat in their household, so she can have a companion. And I hope the home she goes to will be able to give her the love, time and attention she needs.

We are based in Enfield, North London.
