Watched Hoarders this morning and a lady had so many cats among all the stuff in her house it was sad,everything was covered in cat pooh so deemed toxic and had to be destroyed.The cats were all removed,some were so so thin ,when they started to take all the stuff they found little dead cats and some kittens.Next day someone heard a noise from the bedroom,they managed to make a path to get in and under the bed found a cat and 6 little kittens who the vet reckoned were only a day old but if they hadn't been found would have perished too.....Animal hoarders is on Wednesday night,a lady who has 70 cats,another lady has 150 dogs.

He's doing OK. Still incredibly curious about her, to a degree that she finds uncomfortable, but she's getting over it (second night she spent on our bed--woo-hoo!!)

Its really cute when they first sleep on your bed...she looks like a real sweety, lori

She reminds me a lot of my old cat, called moneypenny, she had really similar markings and colouring. She was a lovely, gentle little girl.

She is a cutie...I just wish she were a bit more cuddly. She's so cute I want to hold her all the time and she'll have none of that!

zazz: he's holding up remarkably well. It'll be better when he learns to sleep with a cat sleeping on him.

He just needs to realize that he needs to be assimilated. 

Tortoiseshell/calico cats can be notorious for refusing cuddles and being very strong-willed.

I was lucky with mine, she loved proper hugs. I miss those.

Maybe she'll come round once she's completely settled in, Lori.

yeah i remember moneypenny was really skitty and nervous when she was younger but after about a year, she became a real fuss pot.

I meant to update this thread with a picture of the handsome Atlas out having a walk a week or so ago...he loves a tree!!

Ohhh I was just going to upload some too ... Today I got their new custom made walking jackets. Its not just for show, they are much better than the little thin harness they were wearing ^^ .  Because they are made to their measurements they are very secure and they cant wriggle out of them. Plus because they are full jackets, rather than little thin bands, they are more comfortable for the cats to wear....(infact they are so comfy atlas has gone for a snooze in his .He loves it )

It is going to be little Egypts birthday next month....A whole year old! Awwww!

Anyway, I have just purchased this toy which is going to drive her nuts...its a plastic ball (in pink, of course) and you put treats in it, and they have to knock the ball all over the place to knock the treats out of it, I can see the total madness now!

Yeah, this was only 1p...plus £2.50 postage!! Though I did see this really cool idea in the pet section that is a box with loads of holes (big enough to stuff a toy in, but tight enough they will have to fight to get the toys out) But its like £15! and so easy to just make myself! Truth me told, it needs to be pink!!
