Aww nice pics,my niece is keeping Hugo as a house cat,they are in a flat with no garden.They will be moving back in with me next year to try and save some cash for a deposit etc,renting is not for them.The issue is I have a free flying budge, a hamster and a house rabbit.House pet boundaries will have to be thrashed out at a later date!

Yea Zazz, Hugo can now leap vertically straight up about five feet with those long legs of his.I'm going to have to get bolts for bedroom doors etc...sigh.Mr.Jinks the budgie would be toast...I'd kill the feckin' cat if anything happens to mah Jinksy boy!

Gyps was wandering the streets at all hours, He didn't want to go back home he has seen the big wide world now, and has a taste for it,she had to use little Atlas as bait to get Zeus!! Needless to say, she didn't get much sleep as that was 2/3 am (our time)...Last I heard, Zeus was being called knob head, and little Atlas is now known as Little bait!

Apart from the fact he lets his brother chew his whiskers off I love that you can see all his short whiskers in this picture, and his two remaining good ones Bless him! I dread to think where he will land up sticking his head thinking he can get through!

yes, lori i think so, my first floor window is about 10 foot or so off the ground We dont tend to have any sort of screens in this country because we dont really get the hot summers to warrant them, but im getting something sorted, i cant go through that again

Sounds awful, and scary! I have traipsed around at 2am for a dog, but never had an issue with a cat. If Kenji got out, it'd be the same thing....
We have screens here, just no air-conditioners to speak of.

ION, I took Kenji for his annual appointment today, and complained bitterly about all of his little behavior changes in the last year: used to love children, now is aggressive with them, wakes me up by yelling in my face at 5am, etc., etc. The vet is putting him on Prozac!
She thinks he has an "anxiety disorder", and assures me that this will relax him w/out sedating him, and I'll have my old fun-loving Kenji back. (Note: she is of course ruling out any physical causes for these complaints before we actually start the Prozac.)
Only in America !!!!... of course it could happen here too !
