Leon Campbell

Leon Campbell has been in TV for over 16 years working on a huge range of projects with some of the world’s biggest names including David Beckham, Katherine Jenkins, Leona Lewis, Bruce Forsyth and Dermot O’Leary.

He has produced programmes for all the major channels – Big Brother, Popstar to Operastar, and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and The Restaurant for BBC TWO. He has also created and produced major entertainment events for The O2 in Greenwich and was the producer on the 2008 Handover Show at The Beijing Olympic Games for London 2012.

Leon began his career working as Producer for the BBC working across a range of genres including Entertainment, Children’s, Arts, Factual Entertainment and Specialist Factual before becoming a freelance producer working for several of the UK’s biggest independent production companies.

Leon has spent much of his career developing new programme ideas for the major TV networks in the UK for a range of television companies including the BBC, Endemol, IWC, North One and Shine.

He has always had an eye for breaking new and rising presenting talent from brand new names to sports stars making the move from competition to presenting.

“We are much more than a ‘course’.  We are the first step to a new career.  I’m very passionate about new talent and most of the shows I’ve got commissioned have come out of people who have never worked in TV before”.

I thought he was brilliant. I loved his cheeky look to camera  at the end. you could more or less read his mind and he was thinking what what we were, and Luke himself afterwards thought......"Worra knob"
