If I waited till the 24th it wouldn't get done! I've been known to say 'stuff it' in near previous years and not bother. I sometimes don't even wanna go out for my dinner to my family, but they think they're doing me a favour by not wanting me to be alone

That's the way to do it. I've only ever left it that late twice (for various reasons) but it was lovely- very magical. I usually do it all on the 17th or 18th ..................prefer it like that.
