I like that one too slim. Great song. Why don't you 'do' love songs? Half of all songs ever written are about love in one way or another.
Dunno really - maybe it's cos at the end of the night they always play the slowies & noone ever asked me to dance
I wish I'd written "Perfect Day" for my other half. He came along at a crucial point in my life, and without him I might have been in a very dark place by now.

My best male friend, (who I met in first year of primary school and was my first 'boyfriend,' aged 7 )...... when aged 19 and trying to woo a girl at Uni called Marianne, got his guitar out, sang this, and pretended he'd written it himself

This might be for a whole different thread, but what a break up song!
It's a good job no-one got their guitar out and sang a Laughing Lenny song at my Poly University since they would have been on the receiving end of a stern telling-off.
"It's Impossible" does that tricky thing of showing how difficult it is to express the depth and strangth of one's love for someone.

There are so many songs but at one point, this was the song that kept me going through a really rough patch and I wish I could have written it..
