He's been remanded in custody Ditty, as have the 20 and 24 year old women who were also charged and can't be named for legal reasons, (presumably so as not to identify their own children) Sick barstewards

We were talking about this at work and I'm glad you like them because you can probably answer the question that came up DPGT.

We were wondering now that this news has emerged, would you now buy any of their music ?

probably not 'buy', but maybe naughtily download so they don't get any money... but then again I wouldn't download anything by Gary Glitter because of who he is, what he did and because his songs were shite.

Interesting and thanks for the response Rawky, because our conversation at work then went on and we thought about the other members of the band who were completely innocent of anything and would suffer as a consequence.

Having said that, would that change anyone's mind about purchasing their music?

Which BBC radio? Radio 2 said a young child. Not that the age of the child makes a difference, but saying this sort of thing in the digital age can influence the case, and I am sure well paid defence lawyers will do their best to use it.

its an odd one!

I have bought their music....   I have quite a lot of their stuff.

Would I buy any more now....    guess not (doubt there will be anything released now).

Its a right weird feeling though...     I love a couple of their songs...   they are on my everyday ipod playlist...

One of them...  "Town Called Hypocrisy" is one of the songs my daughter & I screech out when on road trips together...      the video to this song is set where the band members are childrens tv presenters...    and its all starting to feel very very wrong....

part of me thinks "innocent til proven guilty"...  but then, bloody hell...  they have been arrested & charged...   I doubt its all a big mistake..

The whole thing is really horrible...   and I am still really shocked by it...

I've never heard their stuff, although I've heard of them.   i wouldn't buy it now, even if it made my ears melt with delight.  (assuming he's guilty)
