am also one of those sickening people who has blonde hair and goes brown instantly without burning - literally in half an hour I can look sunkissed,

me also, I dont often use concealer, but when I do I just use Touche perfection, from Active it is ÂĢ3.99, quite good but I don't know how it compares with Touche Eclat.
I only really use concealer in the winter when I look like some sort of zombie.

Aww thanks everyone for the replies, made interesting reading. The popular choice seems to the Olay range? I tried the Aldi one ages ago, didn't really do anything for me. I don't have dark shadows under my eyes like I used to but my Touche eclat goes everywhere, plus you only need a little amount so is worth the investment.Agree with Ditty re spot covering though, dont know about you all but if I try covering a spot with concealer it just magnifies it so I dab a bit of perfume or nail polish remover on said spot and just cover with normal foundation. (I have at times been tempted to get a burkha - I shit you not)

I've got L'oreal eye filler stuff - dont know if it makes a difference but I slap it on anyway so in my mind it does Davina McCall has amazing skin, but I think regular facials, exfoliation and taking good care of herself helps towards that, I cant believe it's all down to Creme de la Mer.

I like face cream that is easily absorbed aswell, don't like one that's too greasy. (The night creams are a lot thicker so absorb easier) I have made a list ( ) of all your suggestions and will probably try a few of them. Thanks again xxx (and please continue with your thoughts and discussions and stuff!)

And cheers again Suzy and Saz for the Bravissimo tip - gonna see if I can get there over the weekend. I'd love to find an excuse to go over to Covent Garden but it would end up with me stuck in shoe shops and then I'd take a walk over to Oxford Street and it'd all be over

You should try the ol' "I am getting married in 6 months" trick in the department stores Karma. Tell the counters you are wanting to start a new skincare regime but can't decide whats best for you... most counters will give you a load of little samples.
I do love a freebie Harrods perfumery is ace for that too. I've cleaned up in there a few times with the samples

That's another one I keep meaning to try is the Aldi one. My friend swears by it, and she's another one that's tried everything.
I used to spend a small fortune on expensive face creams and serums,  then someone told me about the rave reviews ref the Aldi ones, (think they won one of those Gok Wan blind tests?) and I've been using them now for several months.....had to laugh when I was recently buying some estee lauder make-up and the woman on the counter said I had great skin ha ha if only she knew!
