Lol, personally no as I'm not interested in fame, but someone very close to me has been in showbiz for many years, is very respected in the industry and has worked with just about anyone who's anyone in the music industry, and through that has also had contact with many in the media.

Me too.  Yes she did great in the tasks - but what did she expect was going to happen?  She is out now and the publicity machine is in full swing - so it worked.

i never bother with the after show stuff, once people have left, i couldn't care what they do or dn't do.

People can like her or dislike her that is their choice. But the hatred that she is having to endure is repulsive. She's had worse press than the nursery teacher who abused all those kiddies. I have even  seen people who have said she is a worse mother than Karen Matthews. People need to get a grip.
 She will be damned for leaving, she would have been damned for staying. She can't win. I wonder how far the Great British public are going to take this vendetta and what is the outcome that will finally have them saying "Poor Katie".

I cannot stand Kate Price - and when i heard she was in this series i decided not to watch. So, as of tonight, i might start watching!

I can understand why ITV wanted such a big/controversial media name on the show, but i simply find her unwatchable these days.

I've not really watched much of the last few nights shows because all it was was the Jordan show.Now I can start enjoying it again and see some others do the trials.

I agree longcat, that Katie isn't a child killer or a paedophile, and she doesn't deserve the pure hatred that she is geting from 'some..'.  I mean a columnist in the Sunday Mirror actually said, 'Katie said 'I'm gonna DIE!' and wouldn't THAT be something to watch?' which shocked me. 


However, she does bring some of it on herself, and as I said on here the other day, I hate everything she represents and I hate her public persona; in fact I really cannot STAND 'Jordan.'.  She is a dreadful attention seeker and it serves her right that the public dislike her - especially after those 'rape' allegations, and how she has treated Peter, and how she is ALWAYS acting like a big old slapper frankly. 


People have just had enough of her and her big fake comedy boobs, and her ridiculous tan, and her waffling and ranting and attention seeking, but deep down I think she is not a bad person and the real KATIE PRICE is ok deep down.  I just think she needs help to be honest, and someone should drag her AWAY from the public glare and MAKE her stay out of the spotlight for a year.  She is her own worst enemy, that is a fact IMO.

Many people were sick of the "Katie" show but then she was voted for trial after trail so ITV had no option but to show the latest bush tucker trial footage.

I'm no fan of Katie/Jordan but couldn't see the point in voting for her to do so many trials.  This also gave her the column inches she appears to desire.

I think alot of people did turn off knowing she was going to be on the show.  It was obvious that the public would vote for her to do all the tasks and all her dramatics were so obviously false.  Did she really think that the public would be taken in by her new "vulnerable, scared and tearful" Katie?  She is so transparent.

The Crossy family took that decision, and take that decision everytime The Ant and Dec (20 megapoonds of public money) are on the box.

It's public money. I don't watch this crock for several reasons so I don't know who advertises, but those who do advertise take your money and waste it on sponsorship.
 Unless they have a different source of money in which case tell me how they do it.

Public money, for me anyway would denote that it came fromgovernment and thus the tax payer. ITV is a limited company as are the firms that spponsor and advertise in their shows so I'd see it as private money rather than public. How is what they spend on advertising MY money?

So where does the money come from? I'm eager to know 'cos if what you say is correct then magic may be involved.

From the advertisers, who use the profits they make on the products or services that they sell. I don't see where this is coming from?
