sounded like that was what michelle was saying, katie will kick herself if she has, and alex is on his way to pop the question according to papers today, shes missing out on all that publicity, unless they will tell her that to keep her to stay.

Joe said she said she was leaving and she said she did not want the money..

Wouldn't have put her down as a quitter, it's only a few weeks, disappointed she's going.

I can sympathise with her wanting to leave rather than get voted out.  She has been brilliant, and won a lot of admirers this week.

Good riddance if she's left.

She's done as much as she can, and possibly more than most could in the tasks and provided food which basically is all they care about in the end, being fed - good job none of them live in seriously deprived areas of the world where adults and children die of starvation every day.

If she's had enough of being picked on by the public and wants to go home to those who really care about her who can blame her, well some will but I won't, she's not let herself down in the jungle.

Janice Dickinson and John Fashanu were voted to do the trial time and time again .........both rnded up doing rather well (as I remember). i dont think her hearts really in it TBH.

Well said Marg.  I don't agree with all the hatred towards her.  The papers have so much to answer for.  
If I had to face all she has this week I would have run a mile. They all like her in there so that must prove something.

The day she's proved to be a bad mother and Pete takes the kids off her is the day I believe some of the stuff in the papers.
Same goes for Brian Westlife.  He spouted bile about Kerry and how he was going to fight for custody but he ran back to Australia without even trying.

I agree Tayto it is becoming a witchhunt I dont like that, nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors and I dont believe half of what the papers print..

It's sad Marg that what's said in the paper is taken as gospel and people form opinions on what they say.  They have so much to answer for.

I've no idea what the Press have been saying seeing as I don't buy their rags. All I know about their separation is what I've read here and elsewhere. She said the other day only her, Pete and their families knew the truth and I believe that so why the public feel involved I've no idea., how does it affect them? I think Pete is a really nice person, too sugary for some maybe but still for me a nice person. Katie's been great at the tasks, she's done what I couldn't do and I wonder if those who vote or slate her could do it either. She's not caused any problems in the jungle, just fed them. The public need to look at themselves before judging others.

She is her own worst enemy.   She should stop cravng fame and get to grips with the fact that going on TV and talking to the Mags/ Media has long gone for her---She should keep herself to herself for a while, and concentrate on her family/relationships and stop publisicing every detail. The way she is going she will end up up in the Priory..

Publicity is her job Real - just like a lot of people.  She's only trying to get her point across but Pete from what I can see has a better publicist who blocks anything controversial.  
Kate on the other hand is honest about herself and she also hasn't said anything bad about him despite all he has said about her.

Kim and Joe are doing themselves no favours on there either Re-- the tasks-- i would eat/ do owt in there. I'M A CELEB--- GET ME IN THERE. Ozzy is my fave I would bite the heads off all the critters in there and eat em. Must be safer than some of the Kebab shops here.

Thanks Tayto  There was a time some years ago when I avidly read the press, several newspapers every day and couldn't imagine anything would change. Very gradually I realised I was sick of reading hype and negative stuff so eventually stopped buying any and have absolutely no regrets. If there's something I really want to know about I can find out online, but I can bypass all the c.rap I'm not interested in.


I think Katie has her children's interests at heart like any mother and so does Pete as a father. For their own reasons they couldn't stay married, as many couples can't these days, doesn't make them bad people, just maybe misunderstood or judged too harshly by those who have no vested interest in their lives.

Marge she will have known before she went in that she is hated not by me tbh. I have always admire her strength, and she is not showing her true strength by quitting. IMO

With a divorce just having gone through-- the time was not right for her. -- Just adding fuel to the haters at this point in time. Her publicist should have seen this and advised against it-- but he is prob on a wage and a % of this latest jaunt. She is prob a caring soul re her Kids-- but she needs to see the whole picture.. Her Publicist has probably cost her a fortune.

Think of it as posting sommat wrong on here--- Folk will jump on you---- If the press were involved on here--- how many of us would be headlining the Media--- He/ She said this etc; Wouldn't mind the money though-- coming up to Christmas.

That's why I think she's honest Real.  She could employ someone to do all this for her but she chooses to let us see her warts and all.
She couldn't chew something in a task the other night and she admitted it was because of her new teeth and didn't pretend it was anything else.  
She's no Angel but someone somewhere is paying big money to dig up the dirt on her to please the masses.

I dont know what she has done so wrong to be honest her husband left her 2 months after she lost a baby and he is hailed as some kind of saint .. not good timing IMO..

There are reasons why I or hubby could spill the beans so to speak on quite a few well known "stars" in the showbiz arena. Yes we could make money out of it but we'll never do it

Marge They should both have kept things private-- away from the media, but the minds of the celebs differ to ours.
