REVELATION

I've just deleted my Facebook account.

Being less facetious a lot of what he says is very true (excepting the people who are housebound or have little opportunity to do others things) I have become to feel society spends far too much time looking at their screens.

I walk a lot and I see far too many people now walking at pace, their faces fixed on their mobiles, not the path in front.

I feel like people can't put their device down for very long without feeling the need to check it. At work they actually update their Facebook status' and discuss it in the office !!!!

Each day (and Saturdays and Sunday's) I walk around my town and look at things and take photo's of unusual architecture or just sit and watch the world go by as I have a coffee. Now and again I meet friends and we 'discuss' verbally the world, the arts and anything else that comes to mind.

I've often said (not all agree) that we should have a no electronic device day.

Are we becoming slaves to our electronic devices? If so, where will it lead?
